I'll just wait till this round of fights is over and see what shakes out. One problem with your theory Boo is any obligations AA may have to German TV. Not sure how that would play out. Seems to have been a factor in the past.

I don't think ARD would get in the way of another Abraham fight in the US. They broadcasted the Miranda fight and will televise any other fight of him as well. Of course, they will pay much less in the middle of the night.

Well, that is the problem. Boo is talking two fights in a row in the states, middle of the night in Germany.

Why not make a joint venture involving HBO and ARD?

First off would be Abraham vs. Lorenzo/Miranda/... on tape delay at 9 pm ET, followed by Pavlik vs. Duddy - live from MSG.

HBO just has to send over the BAD commentating team (minus Lewis) and take the German broadcast, same as German TV does when they broadcast a fight from the States. Not that expensive...

His shaky chin did do pretty well taking the hundreds of clean shot by a 187lbs good puncher for 12 rounds:hi:

Abraham's hold's a title that Taylor vacated. Pavlik beat Taylor twice. AA is a paper champion, one of the most protected titlists in the world, and easily the most over rated fighter on ESB.

Please do tell me why Arthur would be a bigger challenge than Wright coming off a win over williams. I'll wait.

Big Bone. Found this on the front page. You were a little "judicious" in your editing it would seem?

Loew revealed that Pavlik, should he make it past Rubio, is already considering his next opponent. One name strongly linked to face Pavlik is Germany’s Arthur Abraham. Loew added:

“We’ve offered to get him over here for the fight,
    This content is protected
    . We’re getting no response.

“Of course everyone’s saying we don’t want to fight Arthur Abraham. But we would be happy to fight Arthur Abraham in the States or in Germany."

Next move is up to Team Abraham it would seem.

One look at Arthur's resume' tells me it is highly unlikely that Sauerland wants him in the ring with KP. They seem to have avoided tall guys. He has only Ikeke. Guys who can crack. He has only miranda. And accomplished fighters. He has only the same version of Eastman that Miranda stopped in 7. KP is a tall, accomplished fighter, who can bang. He's everything Sauerland has avoided all in one package.

Well, my main point was Pavlik saying he would go to Germany. Even I didn't expect that. Kelly must be sure that this will be so one sided that there is no way he can get robbed. Little does he know they have been saving DQ for KTFO just for him.

You haven't answered my question. What exactly makes Arthur a bigger challenge than Winky if he beats Williams? Go ahead, do your research, and then enlighten me.

    Can I answer for him?

-Abraham not being 38 years old
    -not having a 2-year layoff
-having the most devastating punch in boxing with Pavlik having VERY serious defensive problems
-having that awkward half hook/half uppercut, being able to land both the short and the wide version. Now watch the Zuniga's left hook that sends Pavlik down and do your math
-being a two-handed pucher (it took one short right hook to badly stun Miranda while Kelly landed dozens before he broke Pantera down, therefore he has huge power in both hands)
-Abraham being a natural MW (maybe even heavier than Kelly fight night)

Man, you voted for 'I want to see Pavlik-Sturm' instead of Pavlik-Abraham in the other thread. You'd hype up any fight incl. 38 years-old LMW Winky to be a bigger challenge than King Arthur. Quite obvious, you are very much afraid of this fight, and you should be. More than Kelly or Jack, it seems.
