How many right hands did Cotto throw against Margarito?

How many times did he switch to the southpaw stance and just throw left hand leads?

Who has he knocked out with right hands?

He also doesn't have any defense for the right hand, he takes alot of right hands !!

Based on what punching power of Mayweather? :huh

It took Margarito 11 rounds of nearly 1000 punches to put Cotto on a knee...Floyd not only doesn't have the punch output for such a result, but he also doesnt have the pop

You forgot the end part, when Floyd makes Ellerbe get down on his knees and apologize and give him head.

    Cotto would eat numerous uppercuts.

Look at Floyds fight with Chavez, the amount of uppercuts he was able to land against someone prone against them.

Would you think it'd be Floyds toughest fight?

    :rofl:rofl

Ahhh Yes...the glory days of Floyd's better half of his career when he actually had power.

Floyd has a huge reluctance to throw punches when he's getting tagged. (and it doesnt necessarily have to be flush either) He also fought Chavez in a phonebooth fight. Cotto has never been that sort of a fighter. So your talking apples and oranges

Chavez also isn't in Cotto's class...so let's not go there :good

5 inches longer with an advantage in speed means he would probably win. That is rather simplistic, but Floyd would probably outbox Cotto and win a decision. No knockout.

I merely compared their lack of defense to the uppercut.

Also, Im not saying he would literally KO Cotto but it would be stopped on cuts to his mouth.

Also, Cotto might be more accurate but against Floyd that wouldn't happen. Cotto would be made to miss while Floyd took less chances than he did again Chavez but making the most of it, ripping up cottos chin and scar tissue.
