Big Bone. Given what I posted above, you still trying to say Kelly is ducking AA? Seems the other way around. AA's move it would seem.

I dont think any of these guys are getting knocked out, AA fought on with a broken jaw and pavlik has got up and won by ko, ideally it will go 12 rounds with both getting knocked down but not out and it is the only MW fight that matters

If these guys don't fight this year they have no point in living anymore.

Where did I say KP is ducking AA? Some of his fans and promoter obviously, no matter how you put it in words (bull**** talk like Winky being a more legitimate challenge, Abraham being unknown, bringing no money, you know, the typical blah blah).

I read these rumors of the two sides, both stating they want the fight (well, Arum and Boo not), but I only believe in hard cold facts, and fact is Abraham took a VERY serious risk to fight Miranda in his backyard, division, judges, on Showtime, just to show he's very serious, not only talking about going into the other fighter's backyard. He didn't say 'if the money is right', he didn't care about the whole negotiating, all he said was a boxing ring is a boxing ring anywhere in the world, and KTFO Miranda in a Florida boxing ring. Same 10 count anywhere in the world. Let's see if Kelly goes abroad as well. Respect if he goes to Germany, and respect for taking the Hopkins fight anyway, so it's obviously not HIM ducking AA.

But I don't even like talking about 'being afraid' or ducking. Much easier to speak about the facts: one camp being very serious of the fight (Abraham, the Miranda risk taking), the other is answering what we want to hear in interviews, but we're yet to see any serious proof that they are REALLY intereted in tasting AA's punching power.

Yeah. This is a hard one to figure out. I just really find it hard to believe Loew would make something like this up. I know trainers and fighters keep focus prior to a fight on the main target, but to assume they don't think about matchups down the road is naive. There is a difference in looking past and looking forward.

Yep. Pav will most likely finish AA off once he gets him hurt

You are seriously over rating Abraham. I had a much higher opinion of Arthur back when most of what I knew was based on ESB hype. After watching a few of his fights back to back, and digging into his resume', I down graded him to over protected paper titlist. Any version of Winky that can beat Williams would embarrass AA.

And yes, I said Sturm on one thread, and there was a reason for that which I explained fully. Sturm won't fight AA. Do you think if Pavlik beat AA, Sturm would ever get near Kelly? If the fight became available, it would make sense to take Sturm first.

I'll give props to Abraham for fighting Miranda in Florida, but Arthur NEEDED that fight. He had to clear up the controversey. In any respectable boxing town even Smoger would have stopped the first fight.

The legend of Arthur's chin is an interent myth. He has only fought one banger in his entire career, and he nearly got his face tore off. With illegal help from the ring side doctor, and the help of a biased referee, he made it to the end of the fight, and got one of the biggest gifts I've ever seen. That's the only time Arthur ever got his chin checked. His average about was about 5' 10", had very little experience in the pro ranks, and a KO ratio around 40%.

Boo, now you only have to tell me one thing, as there's no reason of to continue this nonsense.

The whole boxing world from US through the UK, Philippines to Germany has this fight on their top3 wish list. After the Hopkins schooling, many debate Pavlik's #1 position at MW (I don't). Even HBO crew said Abraham would give serious problems to Kelly. Half of the boxing world picks now Abraham by brutal stoppage. This fight guarantees a serious, old school punch fest, Winky, Catic, Williams don't.

So, if the whole boxing world is DEMANDING this pure boxing excitement, why are you keep on making bull**** excuses why it should NOT happen?

I think King Arthur would knock Pavlik out in the later rounds. People mistake his lack of action as laziness, he just coasts through fights doing what he needs to do. He would step up a gear against Pavlik.

Arthur Abraham Team: We are ready to fight Pavlik at any time and absolutely everywhere.

“We were very surprised to read Jack Loew´s comments,” Sauerland said. “He must be living on a different planet. Last spring we have picked up negotiations with Pavlik´s promoters Top Rank. We have also been in constant touch with HBO and Showtime. However, in the last couple of months, Top Rank seemed to have lost their interest in a unification..

“Bob Arum once said that from a sporting perspective Arthur would be Pavlik´s most important opponent but that his fighter also has to think about earning money. Obviously Arum shares the view of many experts who all believe that Pavlik would lose against Arthur.”

Sauerland would be more than happy to finally set up the one fight the boxing world has been waiting for. “We are ready to fight Pavlik at any time and absolutely everywhere. Arthur would even come to his home town. If Pavlik and his people are really interested in coming to Germany, they should let us know officially. We would be more than happy to make an attractive offer.”

It is today that King Arthur turns 29. To celebrate in style, coach Ulli Wegner has granted him – as well as his training partners – a whole day off from practice. The IBF champion will stage a party at Berlin´s famous Ritz-Carlton Hotel at the Potsdamer Platz.

“The only reason why I am still fighting at middleweight is Kelly Pavlik,” King Arthur said. “I want his belts and I want to be super champion. My only birthday wish is a unification fight against him.”

Sauerland claimed there was no reason for Pavlik to be afraid of losing his titles. “Arthur will move up to super-middleweight after he has defeated Pavlik,” the manager added. “Pavlik could fight for the vacant titles straight away and win them back.”
