Plenty of fighters could have stopped Chavez. I'm not sure anyone would knock him out, but plenty could stop him.

This is a foolish statement. Margarito and Chavez are not even CLOSE to being in the same league as fighters.

Frankie Randall was the first guy to knock Chavez down. Whitaker has less power than all of those guys and he stunned Chavez a few times in their fight. These guys aren't superhuman. If you punched enough, or in the right spot, you're going down.

 

I was more impressed with De La Hoya's performance against JCC than Mosley's when they were sparring each other.

What's the point? It seems everyone is already under the impression that he can't be stopped anyway. Hell, De La Hoya did in fact stop him at 140. Of course, people will just come up with a million excuses for why that fact isn't relevant.

 

The fact that he was shot should be a pretty valid excuse.

 

Half Japanese Arron Pryor would have stopped him.
