He's got a puncher's chance and is unwilling to negotiate. How does that bring anything to the table?
Arreola, Chambers, Peter rematch, Povetkin, Valuev, Chagaev, Dimitrienko...I would much rather see Wlad or Haye fight any of these fighters right now. Haye simply isn't ready for Wlad or Vitali at this point. He needs to grow into this weight. He didn't look very impressive against a shop-worn Monte Barrett. This is the same Monte Barrett who was KO'd by Niko Valuev. Heck, at this point I think i'd rather see Haye versus Tommy the Duke!!
atschatsch You obviously feel haye should bend over and let the brothers take turns...Their demands are cowardly and unreasonable, there's nothing difficult to understand man.
I guess Toney and Rahman made unresonable demands too, for Haye's first fight. In your world Wlad, Toney and Rahman are afraid of Haye. Now let's get serious: It is about Haye overprizing himself as his camp seemingly refuses to accept that they are the one who have to concede considerably more during negotiations because: 1. Haye had only one fight at heavyweight against a bum and faced no contenders. Haye is not a HOF like Pacquaoi and only beat Mormeck. 2. Wlad is the champ and not Haye. 3. Haye not is not a big draw outside the UK as he has never fought outside the UK. 4.There is no real pressure from the general (not the UK) media to make this fight as Haye has not beaten any contenders so far. 5. Wlad will just go forward and face Areola and then face Haye in a year or two when Haye is more deserving. Nobody except the haye fans would really care and Wlad would not be blamed for it. It is Haye who loses credibility. 6. Haye was the one screaming for wlad. There is really nothing more to say. This is just so obvious even for a haye fanatic like you.
Apart from the last paragraph, I totally agree. I'm a Haye fan but he's been a complete ***** of late. Any fighter would jump at the chance to fight for the title after only one outing against a bum. I'm really starting to think Haye doesn't want this fight.
You missed out the sticklers in the negotiations: Two further fights after the Wlad fight Opponents chosen by K2 The fights promoted by K2 with profits going to K2. Also the possibility of been stripped of belts..... All in all they're pointing a shitty stick in Haye's direction and asking him to grab on.
Peter and Arreola could both KO David Haye at this point. if Haye learned to use more lateral and head movement, with his speed and power, he would easily beat these guys. But, he doesn't handle pressure very well right now.
Haye who? Not known outside the US, one loss against a bum. not faced any conteners at heavyweight, only one fight at heavyweight, only mormeck in his record... As you clearly see, Wlad does not need Haye right now especially if he does not agree to the contractual terms. Haye would be well advised to do his talking inside the ring just like the Klits.
First of all, Wlad offered Haye a shot when he did not have to. Wlad does not need Haye right now because Haye has not proven anything at heavyweight. Haye has to accept the conditions offered by the Wlad camp which has always been known as a fair partner during negotiations. It is much more likely that Haye's promoter has overprized Haye. remember haye already backed off of Toney and Rahman. If the Haye camp refuses to accept the conditions, then Wlad will face Areola. No problem for Wlad.
Too bad we will never find out...your boy would never step into the ring with two big punchers like this. If he were to beat two top ten ranked guys like this, he could ask for a much bigger payday when negotiating with K2.
It is indeed a possibility. I still hope Haye fights Wlad, it would be fun for some rounds at least. But I think that fight won't probably happen. Haye should go after Toney then, that would be a good fight. The quicker, younger Haye against the slick and experienced ATG Toney. Haye would get respect for beating Toney and would be in much better position to negotiate with Wlad.
