    At 147 or 154?

At 154, there isn't too much speed, but if I had to pick some people, Spinks, Forrest, and maybe even Mora.

I suppose you might be able to say that Paul is on par with Mora in the speed department, but Mora isn't a guy that's known as a fast fighter either.

However, at 147, Mosley, Pac, Floyd(if he comes back), Zab, Berto, and I think Quintana as well, maybe Cotto as well.

exactly... none of this matters because paul combination of skills is what makes him so dangerous

    paul kills zab
    already killed quintana
i think he would beat floyd
    he would beat cotto..
    he would beat mora..

boxing is a game of matchups and the match up that paul presents makes him an extremely difficult fighter to face

But at 147 his size advantage has a lot to do with who he would win against. His stamina is also close to superhuman which helps too, but at 154 and especially 160, it's an entirely different ball game.

His size advantage is diminished, his stamina will probably be the same at least at 154 if not better than at 147, but as he gets higher in weight it's likely that his punch will diminish, and for a guy that has only above average hand speed, and likes to mix it up on the inside, he's going to be in for some rough nights.

your also talking about all time connotations...

in 2009 between 145 & 154 (which are his natural weights) youll be hard pressed to find someone to beat him.... you have to go all the way up to the 160's to find someone who could beat him (pavlik & abraham) and theres no garunteed that pavlik or abraham will win....

in 2009 he's a tough match up for anyone between 145-160

right thats my point.... how many people between 145-160 100% have that ability and will no doubt beat him?

your just nit picking.... cause in 2009 nobody clearly blows him out....plus theres no guarantee his punch will diminish @ 160.... yeah andy kolle is a journeyman type of guy.... but pw was the first person to ever ko him in 20+ fights.. so we can atleast say that pw's power @ 160 is decent

What you are forgetting in your analysis of Paul is one key issue about him...

His chin. His chin is what allows him to give up his height on occassion and trade punches. He has much better power than you give him credit for also. He doesn;t have Hearns power, but the fact that he can stand in there and take a few punches to give his punches has to mean something. Remember, he has never been knocked down his entire career. Not even close.

Also, as Walk With Me said, it's the matchup that he presents with his complete arsenal. You can't just look at his speed and power in a vacuum. Look at the decent speed, height (6'3" not 6'2"), southpaw stance, 82" reach, stamina, workrate, chin, and decent power, and they more than compensate for his awkward style and balance.

And you idiots who keep reaching for that Quintana fight... Pathetic.

He is more than capable of sparking that fool inside of three rounds again and again and again. He ****ed up the first fight. He knows it. He fixed it. He did what he should have done the first time. Fight outside, take a few punches from CQs slick style, wait for an opening, and beat that ***** to sleep. Perfect. So, are you still gonna judge his entire career on an avenged loss?

From the few fights ive seen of his, he looks good. Winkys style i think is completely different from anyone hes fought. Since WW hasent fought in quite sometime the old ring rust factor will be visible but Winky has the experience and a very slick style.

Ill say Williams by close UD.
