any potential fights lined up? This guy could be a big player in the WW division if given the chance and the right fight no-one seems to be keen to fight him

He's frustrated with not being able to get a big fight and is even considering to pursuing a career in Soccer. This is from an interview he did recently with BScene.

Cotto Mosley or Berto needs to fight him. I think he can beat anybody in that division.

Clottey should keep proving himself, this time against someone like Collazo, same way he did against Judah in August. If he stays busy against quality opposition like that he will catch a break and get a big fight eventually. Also he will be making decent paydays along the way.

He should step it up time is not on his side.

he should step it up??? HES TRYING TO UNFIY THE DIVISION!! its ppl like Arum and everybody else in the division that doesnt want to fight him. if Cotto picks Cintron over Clottey or Berto then Im done with him.

read it again, i meant step it up in terms of staying active. I think that was pretty clear. Fighting once or twice a year isn't a good idea for him right now even if the big names won't fight him

IMO....Clottely is almost his worse enemy. Meaning he is such a BIG and solid fighter at 147...technically sound but doesn't have the kind of charisma or marketing backing him to be a "NAME". So really there are few fighters who are willing to take on a BIG RISK in Josh vs the low reward should they get past him. Its not Josh's fault....Wink had the same issues. But you are right...What Wink did was STAYED BUSY! Faught overseas b/c no one wanted to fight him in the states...eventually his time will come and he'll be SHARP due to his activity. I like Josh.....He can beat anyone at 147 if he is on his game.

I really like Clottey's chances against any WW. I hope he can get a decent fight soon!

He should fight Ishe Smith since they both can't get a fight.
