Bj Penn vs Kenny Florian ufc 99

Man, I would LOVE to see Florian win this, but I just don't think he could pull it off, even at his 100% best. We've never seen BJ very successfully kickboxed and I don't know if what Florian would do with his kicks is just an invitation to get taken down. I'm not all that sold on Penn as some MMA ground master, but I think Florian's usual advantage in grappling will be gone. I'm worried this will be a boring fight with Florian always trying to find and angle to attack from and Penn not able to walk him down. Penn UD.

Now Penn vs. Sanchez, THAT'S an interesting fight.

 

In a five round fight, BJ better hope to TKO or sub Sanchez fast, because after 3 round with Sanchez, BJ is gonna be sucking up for air.He might win the decision, but he will certainly drop the last 2 rounds, and maybe the last 3.

 

You could be right.... but the times Ive seen BJ really gassed were vs GSP & Hughes at 170 lbs.. the best 2 WWTs to ever fight in MMA... their natural raw strength had a lot to do with BJ gassing, Sanchez isnt quite as powerfull as those 2 & BJs body looks more comfortable & fluent at 155.

It would be some fight, thats for sure.

Maybe this upcoming not very impressive looking UFC 95 is the small price we will have to pay for a future Sanchez-Penn clash... thats if Sanchez beats Stevenson, you never know.

Ps. I want a rematch with Nate Diaz & Guida to happen, I think Nate was robbed, he is my fav young fighter & a potential star, that Guida is 1 lucky little *******, Nate will leave no doubt next time.

I don't get this. Sherdog is lousy with people who think Diaz not only won that fight, but won it clearly. Neither one came close at all to finishing that fight, but Guida made what he wanted to happen happen a lot more than Diaz did. I'll give you that it was underwhelming and I'm dissapointed by Guida seeming to play it safe, but he totally won that fight.

 

A loss to GSP and now Florian will beat BJ

i give florian a pretty good shot at this. his strength is very underrated and penn is coming of a bad beating.
