that may be the word on the streets of Youngstown but on every other street people know that Abraham will have to make the trip to Pavlik's home court if he wants to get a shot at him.

 

for damn sure hasnt felt that power yet, and is probably the best defnsive boxer he would fight behind Hopkins.

 

Arthur's defense consists of laying on the ropes behind his high guard. Ask yourself this question: What happens to guys who go to the ropes against Pavlik? The legend of Arthur's power is an internet myth. The only fighter of note that he has stopped was Edison Miranda. That's as good as it gets.

 

I know exactly what you mean, but I don't believe he can unhinge AA as long as I see it with my own eyes. I see it the other way round. If other guys had Pavlik in deep trouble then AA can do that to him too (and better).

 

We'll see this fight by the end of 2009. In my opinion the best case scenario would be to put Pavlik/Duddy and Abraham against the winner of Lorenzo/Miranda on the same card at MSG in June. I think Lorenzo will win, and like Duddy, he is a New York based fighter with a decent local following. That card is a money maker, and KP and AA would both come away looking like monsters. After that Pavlik/Abraham in Atlantic City, and get Smoger to ref! We do not want these two in the ring with some ***** ass referee.

However, if Winky gets past Williams, that's a bigger fight that would make more money, and be easier to set up. And, there's bad blood and a lot of history.

 

You gotta love Pav...he's going to be a great MW champion. Of course Abraham is very formidable! And dangerous to say the least. But I think PAV is soild enough and durable enough and CONSISTANT enough to get past the very danger Arthur. I can't wait for this one to happen.
