That's great that you made such a bold, but somewhat baseless prediction that Paul will knock Winky out, but it's likely that when Winky wins the fight, you won't come around to say that you were wrong.
I generally agree with you, I just think Winky is more faded than you're making him out to be. Also, it's not like he hasn't had problems with inaccurate volume punchers in the past (see: Sam Soliman). I see this as an even money fight, and if Winky had fought recently and showed he's even at the level where he fought Taylor, I'd heavily favor Winky. A few more points: - Williams struggled with Quintana, a southpaw counterpuncher. Winky's bigger, stronger and quicker than Quintana. - Winky is coming back down from 170. That could really hurt him. Once you add on the weight, the fighter ends up a lot more drained when they move back down, and it tends to hurt both reflexes and punch resistance. See, e.g., Jones, Tarver, Byrd, Oscar. - Williams won't have the same workrate and stamina at 160. It always happens. A guy puts on extra muscle mass, and they underestimate how much more oxygen they need to get in order to feed those extra muscles. I suspect Williams will either have a lower workrate than usual, or will tire out in the late rounds.
Where you been? I get all the big fights right, but if I mess one up I won't go into hiding like you and would give Wink credit which I can tell you wouldn't do if The Punisher wins!
You know I actually agree with you about how Paul goes to the body. In my opinion, that's one of the only things that impresses me about him. I think you're overrating his power though. The thing is, it's going to be very hard for Winky to land those body punches effectively against a guy who's so adapt at blocking them. Winky is no Vernon Phillips who Paul was able to land punches on at will, and especially to the body. But no, I don't go into hiding. If I'm wrong, I'll still wake up the next day. God willing.
Wow, you know anything about boxing? Winky did not "put on 10 pounds." He simply lost 10 less for his last fight so this comparison to other boxers coming back down is irrelevant. Williams is not adding much of anything as far as muscle. He's simply not going to have to lose so much weight. The guy is 6"2 and thin as hell at WW. 160 is a more natural weight for him.
I'd generally agree with you, but I Winky is mostly losing fat. He knew he wasn't going to stay at 170/168/175 or whatever, his future was still gonna lie at 160, so I don't think he made a point of adding 10lbs of muscle. Therefore he should be able to lose the weight. Given the fact he's been inactive since that Hopkins fight, I think he'll be fine. The other points you make however are excellent.
And we know what Finito agrees with must be right? Jesus, how many times your dumb ass been banned? IMO
Of course it's right u ****. Ive been banned many times cuz the Mod has a personal vendetta against me. BTW U don't know **** about boxing.
I don't. How I get all those big fights right in detail that are supposedly mismatches? A vendetta? Maybe it's because you say some dumb ****?
Im really excited about this fight. dont really get your logic with margarito blocking hes punches- he lost and couldnt really get off until the end...winky doesnt throw many punches(and variety) as margarito so its tough to see how he gets off shots to win rounds. i do think he can win tho and im supporting him
