What is he expecting Hatton to do? Box?

Given that Hatton is superior on the inside, and physically stronger and more comfortable at the weight, I doubt it.

If Pac goes Toe-to-toe with Hatton he will play right into Hatton's hands and then get TKO'd!!

    It's reverse psychology!!

Anything Roach says now just irritates me. Never forgive him for talking of that bull**** about Barrera's hand wraps. Ass.

I don't see how people think Hatton is going to win. IMO easy fight for Pacman. Pacman by KO in 9.

He also said in the interview the plan is to keep Hatton at a distance and to box.

i favor pac in this fight as most of you know (i'm picking him to dismantle hatton in a great fashion)

but if roach seriously thinks pac will win going toe to toe, flat footed war with hatton, i might have to reconsider my pick because hatton would ko pac

Hatton doesn't go toe-to-toe. He goes huggy-bear on his opponents. Its not like he is gonna stay at arm's length and just slug it out.

Against Tszyu, and i swear this happened about 100 times, Hatton would be on the outside, bobbing and weaving without throwing punches. Then all of a sudden he puts his head down and lunges in at KT, jamming his head into Tszyu's chest and grappling his arms from the outside. Then he pushes Tszyu's back into the ropes, with his head still firmly pressed against his chest, lets go of Tszyu's arms, wiggles his arms on the inside and starts throwing uppercuts and hooks to the body.

I agree. I think Manny has the advantages if Hatton wants to stand and trade. Pacquiao has a lot more head movement, he's a little bit quicker of hand and foot, and his left hand is going to be a big problem for Hatton. He punches straighter too.

Hatton will never go toe to toe regardless. He will be looking to get in and clinch and work the body, no way he wants to stand and trade punches. I've never seen Hatton do that, this is the whole reason he clinches, he wants to be in close so he tries to keep the action there.

I don't think its Manny's gameplan either. I'm sure he'd rather use his footwork to avoid extended periods of fighting.

:patsch You're right. Marco Antonio Barrera attempted to load his gloves for his fight with Pacquiao. The fact is, he didn't otherwise we would have a big episode like thus one with Margarito.

He needs to shut his trap, and do what he is paid to do. Not be front page news - just train his ****in' fighters.
