    6'7" also.

    I can't remember what Fred Fulton was, he's either 6'6" or 6'8".

EDIT: No, it was definately 6'6". Scrap him.

Imagine fighting him though, 6'6" hard hitting southpaw. Must of been a nightmare.

If the below link is right, then we have a winner -

    1. Väinö Myllyrinne (8' 2")

    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_was_the_tallest_boxer_of_all_time

Then, the following nine are as follows:

    2. Gogeo Mitu (7'4")
    3. John Rankin (7'4")
    4. Jim Cully (7'2")
    5. Julius Long (7'1")
    6. Nicolai Valuev (7'0")
    7. Kaspars Kambala (6'10")
    8. Tye Fields (6'9")
    9. Lance Whitaker (6'8")
    10. Vitali Klitschko (6'7")

Mike 'The Giant' White was billed as being 7' but I believe he was more around 6'10", Michael Moorer and Buster Douglas fought him.

K-1 fighter Jan Norjte (sorry for mispelling) was 6'11" and had some boxing bouts.

Carl Chancellor, who was known as the 'Total Eclipse' was 7'1" and at one time weighed in at 430 pounds, clearly the biggest boxer in history.

Charles Freeman, of the bare knuckle era, had only two bouts, but he was billed as being over 7'6" and at one time may have reached 7', but in all actuality was 6'10" during his fighting 'career'.

Ewart Potgeiter, of Africa, was 7'2" and actually was a surprise contender during Marciano's era, giving such men as Nino Valdes issues in the ring.

Luis Alberto Gonzales was 7' but after a few bouts his license was denied after a heart murmur was detected.

Tom Payne of NBA fame was 7'2" and had a decent career in boxing.

Marcellus Brown, was 7' and had fought the likes of Tommy Morrison.

Gil Anderson, had only two fights in 1954, but was 7'.

^^^Jim Cully, who was both the wrestling (pro) and boxing champion of Ireland, though many dispute these claims
