bad ju you have to rember faisel is a Khan fan,he moderated amirsfans website. He hates what he did to his precious khan.hes a nut hugger
Toledo was stopped after being dropped twice with bodyshots from Peterson, not his chin. Soto was smacking him all round the place though. It's obvious Prescott isnt the reincarnation of Julian Jackson as Khan's team would like us to believe, but he's got some pop, thats obvious.
He fought well last night against a dirty little ****er who was trying everything, headbuts, knees the lot. He didnt mix it up enough but he was still impressive in places. He is no clubfighter, thats bull. Have to wait till he's in with someone who can last longer than a minute and someone who wasnt butting, biting and kneeing all night to properly judge him.
if allot of u read the first post i was pritty much suprised at how he had trouble taking out a fighter who had lost 5 fights all by KO and operated at sfw, in light of all this it really shows how bad khans punch resistance is, hes not the banger people were saying he was and the fight shows how concerning khans chin is
presscot was supposed to make easy work of this dude, people were expecting a first round ko but the fight dragged for 10 rounds, he outpointed a fighter that doesnt have the best chin in the world over the last couple of months many have been over-rating his power the fight just shows how bad khan is
I get that, i was responding to you calling him a clubfighter, and that Khan's career was over because Prescott didnt blow this guy away. That's all. He isnt the murderous puncher team Khan wanted everyone to believe, and the fact he didnt put away a guy that Soto was bouncing of the canvas does highlight Khan's weakness even further. Harsh to say the fight dragged for 10 rounds though, Prescott dominated it from start to finish, got a knockdown, and forced the fella into a DQ. I thought he looked good in spells, considering what a dirty, spoiling, cheating little ****wit his opponent was.
Power...power...power....just because you got it doesn't mean you got to use it every time. It's good that Prescott can outbox guys too. It's important for him to get rounds under his belt too, if he's to improve. No biggie.:good
He doesn't HAVE to be a murderous puncher to make it, though. As long as his power is world class, which it probably is, if he wants to use it, it's good enough. There are other aspects that are important in making it...chin, boxing skills, etc. It's not the end of the world he's no one-punch KO.
It doesn't look good for Khan, does it? This guy was a whipping boy for the prospect Lamont Peterson. Bashed all over the place by Soto. Now we have Prescott, who is supposed to have built himself a reputation as a big puncher...and he lasts the distance. This reaffirms the belief Khan may have one of the worst chins in the history of boxing for a talented fighter.
