JC ducked taylor...after the spinks fight he challenged JC and said that he is willing to go to britain...but sadly JC never entertained the thought...JC never fought guys in the prime. look, tarver, jones, taylor and bhop are elite fights (p4p top10) during Jcal's reign yet he never fight any of them

JT has faster hands and can put together blazing combinations. That's a big factor. He also has better countering skills because of his hand speed and quick twitch muscles.

Kessler has a very good jab but so does JT when he decides to use it. Footwork, defense, and technique, i would give to Kessler.

Damn this poll is one-sided as hell which is a little surprising.

What utter ****. Taylor/DiBella were asking for $8mil to make the fight at that time!

Jermain is hated. I thought he looked good in the Lacy fight. It was a comeback after two losses. He did what he set out to do. I need to see a couple more fights from Jermain at 168 before I make this call. He has the talent to EASILY slip into the 2/3 spot DEPENDING on what he does. No way I put him #1 without seeing more at 168. Come on Hayturds. Dump on me for that.

One thing is for sure - if Kessler goes into a Taylor fight underestimating him like many of his supporters on this thread, the Dane probably gets TKO'd.

Kessler may be the favorite, but this is not an easy fight by any means. NOBODY has had an easy fight with Taylor, and Mikkel definitely won't be the first.

    TKO'd by Taylor...

    That is comical.

Yeah. Even I think that one is a bit over the top. No way I see Kessler taking Taylor lightly. Said it enough, but, I'm waiting to see Taylor a few more times at 168. I wouldn't want to see this fight until late this year at the very earliest. If Taylor loses, he didn't have enough fights at 168. Can hear it now. I think a minimum of two more fights before Kessler is warranted.

Kessler has never been down in his entire career including amateur.

TKO'd my ass. There is only one person with the possibility to miss the final bell.

You can never rule out any outcome. No one in the world expected DLH to get TKOed by Pacman or Mosley to stop Margarito (outside of Compukiller). :good

Styles make fights and it's very unlikely but it wouldn't shock me.

I said it was only likely in the event Kessler overlooks Taylor (which I don't think he will).

I was more making a point about how little chance Taylor is being given by everyone here, as though it would be an easy night for Kessler.

Personally I'm leaning Kessler at this point but that is because Taylor has only had one fight at 168. If I see anything good from him in his next couple fights, I could easily change my mind. Even then, this is no gimmie for Kessler.

As for never having been down, give me a break - sounds like something a Froch fan would say. There is a first time for everything. Against top level fighters, history means very little; anything can happen.
