Not sure who'd win this one. I think it'd be a hell of a fight though. If I have to guess...I'd say Roy by SD. If Haye managed to land however it'd be over.

Now you are underesimating the Quiet Man. He's no chump. He might be boring but he was a solid HW who had noteable wins over good opponents. This fight just showed how good RJ is and not how bad Ruiz is.

He had a glass jaw. deal with it. He was put over years ago by the mighty power punching Lou Del Valle. When caught he fell. He was too good and was not hit flush to often and he bulked up to fight ruiz so could withstand a better dig but Ruiz hit as hard as a girl. He aint no Henry Cooper

:patsch On th replay you can CLEARLY see RJJ TRIP over his OWN FEET on the KD. As far as Ruiz goes, he KO'd Oquendo, put down Holy, and hurt Golota, He was not as featherfisted as you make him out to be, he had decent pop hater.

Roy always seemed like he was reluctant to take on the cruiserweights. He nixed a legit chance to fight Jirov about a year or so before he fought Ruiz, and chose to slim back down to LHW rather than fight cruiser (which is basically what he was at that time) after beating Ruiz.

That, combined with Haye's combined speed and power, makes me think he might've pulled off the "upset" here.

Jones would probably win this. Haye has a good right, but Jones would not be hit with it.
