Looks like he reused an old piece of gauze. Sweat and tape can leave residue on the gauze, even stiffen it up a bit, considering it'd be condensed a bit with the sweat and pressure from punches.

Stupid move on the trainer to re-use it.. but would I call it cheating.. no.

People acted like he was using brass knuckles.. and we've now proven that Cintron's ***** comment about how hard Margorito punches is null and void as he said the same **** about Martinez.

Just to put this **** back in common sense perspective........... This is what plaster of paris looks like. This **** does not look like a block. It would never look like a block. If you look at said pad it is flattened and pressed and formed. Old gauze do not look like that. I bet you cant roll that **** up or bend it. Its obviously flattened and is stiff. The mother****er did not get banned for having regular gauze. It looks exactly how its described....but wouldnt it make more sense to say something after feeling IT...lol What gauze stays flattened like that.....................................................................

It does say it must be "dry"...which this seems to have not been. Most trainers make the pads in front of the other team. Team Margo did not do that which I am sure is what caused them to really look at the pads.

 

I have been there done that, all knuckle pads when they dry after using them get stiff dip **** I challenge you to go find a ****ing brain.

You can roll that same gauze right the **** back up after uses in the gym. You would know that if you actually had your hand wrapped using hand wraps...you roll the **** back up.... No matter how much sweat and water you leave in there..the **** would still roll the **** back up. Exactly. Fact is no one here knows how hard or soft that thing is. What about the blood/glove stain? I thought the thing was removed before it was put to use? That would mean that if it was illegal, the thing can harden and soften up (by applying some substance?). Sounds pretty unlikely to me, but IF it is possible, then it certainly must have been clear to Margarito himself what was going on.
