Did Cotto or Pavlik get shite thrown at them like Hatton did for making a mismatch?

Did Cotto or Pavlik get shite thrown at them like Hatton did for making a mismatch of a comeback fight?

Hatton was pummelled (by some on here) for fighting Juan Lazcano.

He was absolutely slaughtered on here for fighting who he did, and yet no-one has made barely a whimper about Cotto's or Pavliks chosen opponents - double standards don't you think?

I think it's fair who they all fought given the circumstances, but at least keep your criticism fair across the board.

Well for one, Hatton lost, but he wasn't brutalized for the better part of 11 rounds.

Don't even get into criticizing Miguel Cotto for taking on Michael Jennings. He was not a handpicked opponent, and he is coming off his first professional loss. It was a devastating defeat at the hands of Margarito, and he got a bit of redemption tonight. Well done Miguel!

shouldn't you be making shitty threads in defense of your boy Margacheato instead of criticizing a legit figher like cotto?

It was Cotto's comeback fight, after a brutal loss, his first ever loss.

It's understandable that they'll match him up with an average but game fighter, instead of fighting highly rated fighters in his division.

Your missing the point. Hatton was coming off his first defeat to an ATG, and got ripped apart for taking a fight with Lazcano. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander?
