There's no pleasing some people, I guess people will start slagging off Buncey next week if Setanta doesn't get Diaz/Marquez fight. Why don't you look at the BBC who do **** all for boxing!

 

I think its easy to get dragged in to boxing forums where boxing is the biggest sport out there and a major talking point in peoples lives and forget about the realities of the situation for 99% of the general population and 95% of casual boxing fans. We're a minority interest group.

What we have to remember with Bunce is he brings lots of faces to the table, in a purely boxing related show. I don't know anywhere else that does this, and I'm not sure Bunce would get the pleasure of such guests if he tore them a new ass.

 

I remember sky used to have a show called ringside which they showed on a thursday night with Paul Dempsey and a couple of ex boxers like Mccrory and Piper, that show was just talking about past fights and the next weekends fights. Bunce gives us more of an insight into whats going on behind the scenes with promoters management and the actual boxers along with discussing recent fights and not just ones that are shown on Setanta. He doesnt try and glamourise the sport i think he tells it like it is. So keep up the good work Buncey and AK. I feel sorry for the guys who wont be able to watch the show on setanta 2 but thats not Bunces fault.

**** post really. Setanta is a sports channel, not just a boxing channel. They show the big fights that usually involve British fighters but they show other good title fights as well. Sky shows boxing, Nuts TV also show some boxing, and it's easy enough to get streams of other fights if they are not shown in Britain.

 

Setanta have shown more big fights in the last 2 years than Sky ever have. Not to mention Sky would fleece us for PPV cash on top of the 40 or so quid subscription for sports.

SKY keep putting their prices up yet so far Setanta have reduced the subscription costs. Its not rocket science trying to work out who benefits us most :?

The Bunce Show needs to have the telephone comments/feedback from boxing fans somnething like how Going Live allowed Kids to have their say.

 

Some of what has been said here is true,but if Bunce started bad mouthing fighters he would get zero guests on his show and what info he can get from promoters would dry up.The show would then be pointless.If he started slagging off one of Hayemakers fighters or worse still Haye himself is that company going to give his show any help?I doubt it.I think Bunce does a good job.
