I'd rather see him fight Duddy than Mora.

You guys really think Sturm can be lured stateside again?

I agree. He was the same Pavlic, no improvement whatsoever.

Tonight's version of Pavlik would have been a nice light snack for Arthur.

Steve Bunce was trying to sell Hopkins - Pavlik 2 but in my opinion The Exectioner gives Kelly another ****ing hiding.

    Stupid fight.

I'd much rather see Pavlik - Abraham.

I know, what a joke - he didn't even mention Abraham. Just gave a brief mention of Sturm and talked about a Hopkins rematch being the next logical fight for Pavlik. Who the **** wants to see that again? What a plonker.

Hopkins will not fight Kelly again. They really do not need each other anyway. Pavlik can get back to where he was if he learns his lessons and keeps getting experience. The one problem I see with Pavlik is that he is not very imaginative, and with the better fighters this will be a problem. The Hopkins fight showed us what will happen when Pavlik fights a good fighter again who knows the whole game.

We would have to wait until Bernard hits the big Five O before Pavlik would have any realistic chance of winning.

Based on styles, Sturm has a MUCH better chance of beating Pavlik than Abraham. Frankly, Sturm has stronger wins on his resume than Abraham as well, although he has a lot more filler thrown in. In retrospect, what's Abraham's best win? Probably Khoren Gevor. Anyway, I fail to see how turtling up for 2 minutes and unloading in the last minute would win Abraham rounds against Pavlik, and while I think he has a decent chance at a one-punch KO, if he fights like he usually does, that would be his only chance of beating Pavlik.

Either way, taking on the Winky-Williams winner is the fight that would make the most sense for him next. The financial reality is that there isn't enough money in Pavlik-Abraham to happen without one of them getting off their high horse, and Universum would never put Sturm up against someone as dangerous as Pavlik.
