Btw, I want to point out a difference between those two which might be the deciding factor:

You have already seen the best Kelly Pavlik can fight but you haven't seen the best Arthur Abraham can do inside the ring.

    Why, you might ask?

Because Abraham until this day doesn't had to - minus the Miranda bout, Abraham always has found a way to win with his effectiveness, not in need to deliver the best he can. Abraham also has the better trainer in Ulli Wegner on board - and no one neither American, even a citizen of Youngstown, can deny that.

Tactics is everything in this fight and only one of them can adapt to the other's style...

    Stop using hyperbole. :patsch

Abraham wings punches wildly. He is a very strong and tough guy, but his level of competition is crap. The way he loops punches he would be wide open for a Pavlik shot straight down broadway and once he ate a few of those he wouldnt come out of his shell again.

Abraham would have a chance just because of his strength and the fact that he wings such crazy punches that there would be a chance he catches Kelly with a punch he didnt see and hurt him. That being said; we have seen Pav's recovery time as he was down a whopping 2 seconds after eating a barrage of shots from JT and Im not sure Abraham has the power or activity to put Pavlik away and I would doubt very much he could win on points.

If Pavlik Stands right in front of Abraham and sticks his chin out like he did against Taylor, then he'd get knocked out. Pavlik was trying to taunt Taylor, and he paid for it. However, I doubt that he would do that against Abraham.

Doesn't matter anyway. Both fighters want the fight to happen, but there isn't going to be enough money involved to make everyone happy. Abraham can move up to 168 if he wants to. If he does, Kessler and Bute both cream him.

    1. Abraham only swings wildly in moments where it doesn´t matter because the enemy is wobbled or in full-defense mode.

    2. Besides the two Taylor fights, Pavliks resume in MW is no way better than Abrahams, perhaps even worse.

I like both fighters (honestly I like Abraham more) and both could win the fight. Pavlik has the edge in workrate and Abraham in power.

FEATHER FISTED CALZAGHE hurt Kessler, I can only imagine "if" Arthur caught him and his reaction, 50/50 fight my man, no one is creaming AA from the above mentioned.
BUTE I HONESTLY THINK does not pose a challenge to arthur, after andrade, I can honestly say arthur ktfo BUTE before round 10.:deal

Did you really just say that? Of course if you start taking away Pavlik's best fights then you could eventually get him down to Abraham's level of competition. Pavlik knocked out Zuniga, Zertuche, McKart, Miranda (when everyone was riding Miranda's jock) and Taylor. Come on, I understand you may like Abraham, but their resume's are not close at all.

When people start comparing Pavlik/Rubio they are going to see some similarities in what will happen in Pavlik/Abraham. Rubio came with the right game plan, just one fight too late. Pavlik's reach made the difference in the fight againt Rubio and AA is at more of a disadvantage.

Serenata do you feel arthur is the most underrated fighter here on esb? I swear people ALWAYS knock on arthur. I have noticed they NEVER MENTION:
    1. the obvious, power, booradley actually states he has VERY overrated power:rofl
    2.his defense
    3. his body attack
    4. his left hook/uppercut in my opinion one of the best in boxing right now
5.his accuracy, the guy does not waste punches(pavlik after tonight in my opinion is one of the most inaccurate boxers I have seen)
    6. his counter shots
7.his right hand, I loved his short quick right on miranda, people dont even know that was the first knockdown
    8 decent jab
    9ring smarts
I mean I can go on and on, but the usual ESB rethoric,
    "he is not active enough"
    "he swings wildly"
"he has a fake winky peeka boo style"
I mean he is not the second coming, but let me tell you something, ABRAHAM will ko Pavlik before 8, you heard it here man, Pavlik after tonight, was very disappointing for me, what thing I saw that aas team will fully take advantage of is HOW EASY IT IS TO COUTER THE GUY:rofl:rofl:rofl! Rubio was countering him on his freaking back foot going towards the rope. I also see a really bad habit, that i know he is going to use against aa, and that is his showboating, the guy has a serious ego problem and when he get hit, he always "tries" to show his opponent it did not affect him by sticking his chin out or smiling!!!!:yikes Arthur is probably salivating at the thought!
Another thing I noticed was, when asked after the fight who he wanted, instead of the obvious, he calls out DUDDY:rofl:rofl:rofl! I watched Dudddy tonight and he is ABSOLUETLY HORRIBLE and in my opinion, ANY of the top 5 154 pounders beat DUDDY to a heap, then he calls out MUNDINE:yikes, I have no comment.
Sorry for the long post but PAVLIK WILL NOT FIGHT ABRAHAM, YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST, PAVLIK NOR HIS PROMOTER WILL NOT GO NEAR AA, and once aa or his promoter know this aa will move up to 168!

Did you even see the fight? Cuz instead of slapping your self in the head you should be kicking yourself in the ass if you don't see it. :deal

Zuniga and Taylor are both fighting for world titles at SMW in the next 2 months. How many of AA's past opponents are doing that?

Zuniga held the IBO title at 168, but he vacated for a shot at AA that he got screwed out of.

McKart held WBO, IBA, and NABF titles at 154 as well as an NABF title at 160, and did 32 rounds with a prime Winky Wright. How many of AA's past opponents have those kind of creds?

Taylor was the undefeated, undisputed middleweight champion of the world. How many reigning, undisputed champs has AA beat?

The fact that AA supporters are willing to talk **** about Pavlik's resume' boggles the mind. Arthur would not even have a title if the man KP beat twice hadn't vacated.
