The difference is that AA will be able to make that available. If Pav goes straight forward he'll find himself in the ring dust. I'm not objective, because I'm a huge fan of AA and his style, but Pav has only a chance if he really is willing to use his height advantage and does everything to avoid AA's 30 seconds shellfire per round. If he is able to avoid that I've no doubts that he wins a UD or - very unlikely - a SD.

Howard Eastman was ranked #1 WBC Middleweight contender and went 12 Rounds with Hopkins before the fight with Abraham. After that we was done. ;)

Let's just say I think it is less likely after what I saw tonight. Look at the poll. Who thinks AA decisions Pavlik? What I am saying is the Pavlik we saw tonight is MUCH less likely to catch the bomb with his chin than we saw even one fight ago. I guess I'm mixing threads here. There were threads claiming it was basically the 'same old Pavlik that learned nothing from the Bhop fight'. These are simply wrong.

But again, to your question. Not the Pavlik we saw tonight.

Just cause he fought Hopkins doesn't make him that great!

I cant speak on the Pav that fought tonite, & even though all the trustworthy/honest posters I know said Pav looked like he dodn't learn anything, I'm not gonna judge Pav cause I didn't see him. But let me just remind you, the sport of boxing continues after AA & AA doesn't make him an ATG.

A cheap argument would be: "He went 12 rounds with a better version of Hopkins than the one that KOd Pavlik."

But I wouldn´t say that :hey

What legitimate champion has AA beaten for people to think that he disposes of Pavlik easily? That's nonsense, AA would be in the toughest fight of his life. AA has power and a great chin but he's not as slick or fast as people think and he has to seriously pace himself through out.

Another thing is that fighters who cover up and back up play right into Pavlik's style. That also leaves the body open and that will slow anybody down as the fight goes on. Pavlik has the reach, better jab, stamina and I gotta favor him over the shorter, stocky, power fighter in Abraham.
