I was at the fight. Rubio was no can. There was one round where it looked like he might have Kelly in some trouble. More later.

There won't be no KP-AA. Pavlik is running scared. No mention of Abraham tonight.

You are not too bright. Abraham, who has he fought? Miranda is the only recognizable name and it took him 2 fights to KO him. Pavlik did it a lot quicker than that, fought Taylor twice and fought Hopkins. Why would he be scared of Abraham?

Those long left hooks that come around the guard start out looking like a jab, and then change at the last milli-second. They're not new. KP has been using that punch for YEARS. What was new was leading with it, and then trowing another one to the body.

I thought Pav showed a more effective short left hook, and used it more often.

The lead right to the body has alway been one of his most lethal punches, but tonight he used lot more often than normal.

I thought the best thing Kelly did was fight in a very controled and measured manner. He never went to war with Rubio. He did some crazy **** in the 6th round. He was making Rubio miss while his own guard was down, and then he just stopped and let Rubio tee off while grinning at him. That was crazy, but I think that is also when Rubio new he was absolutely ****ed. Other than that Pav fought a very disciplined fight.

One thing that surprises me is the number of people who said the most impressive thing KP could do in this fight is absolutley dominate Rubio for several rounds, and then stop him. Rubio was never in the fight. KP dominated almost every minute of every round, and now many of the same guys are on ESB critisizing his performance.

What part of Duddy, Mundine, Sturm, AND Abraham was difficult for you to understand? What part of Abraham by the end of the year was hard to comprehend?

Jeff -- some of these guys are living in ****ing La-La Land. Pavlik reeled of a list of names: Duddy, Mundine, Sturm, and Abraham. The one I was surprised he did not mention was Winky. He's been trying to get a fight with Wright for YEARS. He may be tired of ****ing around with him.

Since when does the champ have to call guys out? They are called challengers for a reason. Sauerland wouldn't even let Zuniga near AA, and you think they're hot to fight Pavlik:patsch

He might be. I could see a future fight against the winner of Williams/Wright though.

Like the 14 year old kid in the drug store buying condoms.

"I'll take a packet of wipes, this magazine, two packs of gum, a package of condoms and a mars bar."

Buried in the middle, hoping that no one would notice.

When that should have been the first (and perhaps only ) name mentioned.

Kelly will need to step up his game considerably from tonight's level if he is to outbox AA.

And outbox is his best and probably only chance.

If the event ends prematurely, it's ten toes up for the Youngstown boy.

LoL. He doesn't know that the benefit of being a champ is being the guy that doesn't have to call out opponents.
