ok tomorrow then....i think he'll be back in the uk then. :!:

i'd like jennings to give up the wbu (if he hasn't already) and get back in the mix for domestic or european honours. he's still got a couple of years left in him at that kind of level.

Jennings boxed so well last night and he hurt Cotto midway through the fourth with a righ cross that made Cottos legs dip but the commentators missed it. Jennings culd be an excellent Euro level fighter but Sports Network need to recognise the importance of developing fighters domestically. A career as a great european champion is something to bevery proud of.... look at someone like Vincenzo Belcastro.... No chance of ever been a world champion, his team insured he was always heavily in the mix for the lucrative Euro title.

Sports Network have a habit of mixing their fighters in 80-20 matches throughout there career then when they get to 25-0 pitching them in against genuine world class fighters and seeing if they sink or swim. Its a ridiculous waste of talent. Fighters like Gary Lockett and Mick Jennings should be 'exercised' at levels that reflect their abilities. Lockett-Rhodes is testimony to Garys ability, likewise Jennings fights with Bradley Pryce and say Ross Minter prove he is a good fighter.... SN need to stop with this bull**** matchmaking... they need to embrace the sport domestically again like they use to in the nineties.

I'd say get Jennings a decent comeback fight, anything that could get sanctioned as a British title eliminator(so Muttley would be one) and then look to have him fight Kell Brook. But Warren wouldn't like to match two of his guys like that. When Jennings could go back to fighting for the WBU title, and Brook continues defending the British.

To be fair Warren doesn't seem to be promoting any WBU fights.

Since he's gone to Sky all his main events have been British or Commonwealth title fights. Looks like Sky have told him they won't accept any of the WBU nonsense.

Jennings showed a ridiculas amount of heart last night I feel everyone in attendance was impressed by that I had a quiet word with him after the press confrence and hes looking to go down the ebu route and I wish him all the best.

It no surprise he'll want to go the European title route. He's already beaten the champion 80-73 over 8 rounds !

He should have already rematched Muttley by now. It was controversial. I think I had Jennings winning.

but some of the commonwealth belt fights have been dreadful and totaly one sided.
