I guess will see just how good AA is when he fights the great LuJaun Simon next month. Simon has been in with some rough customers. You know, like his last fight with Jose' Spearman, the guy Bronco McKart used for a tune up after 2 years off:nono

What you constantly fail to understand is, that nobody WANTS to fight Arthur. He might be the most feared man in boxing right now. Sturm would never dare to come near him and Winky turned down 1,5 million to fight AA in Germany. So I'm asking you, who in the boxing world has called out AA? Only Miranda and we know what happened to him. Yes, Pavlik mentioned him a few times but never with much emphasis. He is rather happy to fight the John Duddys of this world.

@Boo: Do you honestly believe Zuniga would stop AA? Is that what you think? I don't think that AA's management is afraid of Zuniga. No f... way!

First AA is not "feared" for anything except the small pay days Sauerland offers.. Ya, they offered Winky $1.5 million AFTER he already turned down $2.4 million and a cut of the PPV revenue to fight Pavlik. In other words,Sauerland, who no doubt knows what Winky will and will not except, low balled Wright. Saurland wouldn't even let Zuniga near AA. Instead Arthur fought Ayala.

And this business about nobody wants to fight Arthur is complete bull****. Winky wanted it, but he ain't doing it for half of what Top Rank offerd for Pavlik. Zuniga vacated his IBO SMW title for a shot, but got screwed. Pavlik named 4 fighters in the post fight interview, and Abraham was one of them. You guys that keep saying this crap are either misinformed, delusional, or lying.

The fight in the spring of '08 should have gone to Zuniga. He even vacated his IBO SMW title to get the shot. Instead of fighting Zuniga, who should have been the rightful mandatory, Sauerland set up a voluntary against Ayala. Those are the facts. I said nothing about winners and losers.

Sorry, but $1.5 million is chicken feed to Winky Wright, and Sauerland had to know that.

    Talk about a stretch ?

There's a point buried in there, somewhere I'm guessing ?

The unbeaten Simon (whose entire career has been middle to light heavy) would rank as least as good as Rubio, and managed to take Spearman out in 3.

The four-times-beaten Rubio (whose career has been welter to to middle) needed the whole 12 to eke out a split decision over his last opponent, the redoubtable Enrique Ornelas.

I also got a feeling that Top Rank are avoiding Artur Abraham. He is by far a much superior boxer to Pavlik and also immensely more powerful. The only advantages Pavlik has is height, reach and workrate. I'd say Abraham KO's Pavlik in the later rounds, as Pavlik is extremely hittable.

Pavlick did look good but Rubio was very disapointing.Kelly had it all his own way right from the start.Rubio may as well have pulled out after the third round. You cant take anything away from Kelly as he did a good job but against someone like Rubio it was impossible to tell how much he has genuinely improved as the guy barley did anything to deter Pavlick from walking forward and throwing punches at will.
