Historically, yes, but hey, a change of pace isn't bad sometimes.

Bernard has put a chip on his shoulder that will guarantee a pretty exciting title reign.

Rubio and Pavlik were pretty close in size and Pavlik having problems making 160 is a myth.

I think that its easy to pick holes in KP's record since beating taylor.

However, as you mentioned his two fights at 160 have been MANDATORIES!!

In addition, AA's level of competition at 160 hasn't been much better, along with sturms.

I do believe a couple of things: 1, that Sturm wants no part of KP or AA and 2, that AA made his intentions clear when he went to the US on showtime to fight Miranda.

If they really wanted AA they would/could vacate as he would still have the RING belt and his record in tacked.

I think this fight will happen sooner or later as both men are looking to move up in weight at some point.

Doubtful. Duddy is a gimme, but the Abraham fight will run into all kinds of promotional/ contractual garbage, and a second Hopkins fight would be about as smart as Shane fighting Winky and Forrest twice.

I will be truly surprised if the Abraham fight comes off before the end of 2009.

I don't understand the people that criticize Pavlik and call him over hyped, a bum, etc. If he is what does that make Taylor who he brutally KOed and then won the rematch on points? The same people that bash Pavlik praise Jermain Taylor who Pavlik beat twice.

    I don't understand people sometimes.

Well, BHop was actually in '08. That's my bad. If Pavlik really wants the Abraham fight, he has HUGE leverage on Arum right now. I'm not saying what it is because it's really not public knowledge yet. Just trust me:yep

Abraham, Sturm, Mundine should be his next fights in that order. (If he gets past Arthur).

Is Mundine the guy that was KOed by Sven Ottke?

Well Boorad here's hopin man. I can't help but feel like Kelly wants to fight Abraham -and vice versa- but there's WAY too many issues in front of the two for the fight to ever take place. It's disappointing and a real waste.

Please don't compare Wright, Oscar, and Trinidad to Rubio, Spinks, and Ouma.
