Mosley possibly YAPPED his way out of a rematch with Cotto...at least for now.

Mosley has all the pull over every other fighter in the division. He is the champ. Simple common sense, imo.

For the record, just an opinion as Im not Shane, but I would think if they could muster up the 'elite' judges whom have enough experience to judge a fight fairly (aka: Chuck Giampa, Dave Moretti, etc), then perhaps Mosley would reconsider.

PS, I know there isnt a judge out there we would all agree to be truely 'elite' but the 2 examples I gave probably wouldnt be 'woo-ed' by a bias crowd. Probably not.

And for whoever said the judging in Mosley vs Cotto was lopsided or unfair, I recall all 3 judges having it very close. I disagreed with Cotto getting a UD. I thought it should have been MD or SD to better reflect on the fight, but the none of the judges had it 'wide' for Cotto.

Cotto will probably want another fight in Las Vegas. He probably has to make a point to himself to win there and take the city by victory.

Mosley is still champ right now. he doesnt want to fight in NYC than dont. if Cotto wants to be the CHAMP at WW then he bettger make hes way to the west coast and try to get that title.

Mosley is the one in the driver's seat, not Cotto.

ok i understand and respect him for that but he lost to cotto, i don't see him as number one i still see cotto above him and everyone in that division, a rematch depending on who wins will be consider the true number one.

Than I guess Mosley-Cotto wont happen in June obviously...Mosley won't fight Cotto in NY...Why not do it at Staples??? How about Vegas which would be neutral??

This makes absolutely no sense. None. Cotto edged Shane. Margarito punished Cotto. And Shane completely destroyed Margarito.

Anyone with an ounce of objectivity would agree that Shane is at the top right now.

I do think Shane has the rights to call the shots now. The guy who's hot usually has more pull. Plus Shane has the backing of GBP, who's basically in bed w/ HBO. But I can't help but remember Shane saying his wins over DLH gave him more clout.

Anyway, Cotto is the one who lost, Shane won HUGE. If Arum wants to make this happen, he should accept the facts of the situation. Of course likley why we are hearing possible bouts w/ Clottey and Cintron as well.

cotto didn't edge a win he completely out boxed him all rounds. the margo fight i don't see it as a loss cuz the new found information about margo's handwraps so i do see cotto on top. don't blow me out just yet think about it i respect mosley but he lost and beat a margo who got caught.

I hope you're not implying cotto had out boxed mosley the whole night.
Because that would be an insane thought to have.
Cotto was beaten soundly by Marg while Mosley and Cotto went to war with different people picking a different winner razor thin close fight.
Shane beat the man who was the man.

What you are saying is complete fanboy ****.

Cotto outboxed Shane easily every round????

    Margo fight isn't a loss????

Mosely beat a Margo who got caught????

I never said Shane was robbed. I can clearly see how someone scores that fight for Cotto. But it was a close fight. Everyone but some diehard Cotto fans know that.

And as far as Maragrito and the gloves. You don't have any proof he loaded his gloves against Cotto. None. That's just an excuse.

And the Margarito that Shane beat is the same Margarito that beat the **** out of Cotto. Period.

Cotto won a disputable, razor-thin decision against Mosley in a bout that could have gone either way.

Cotto then got butchered by Margarito, who in turn got destroyed by Mosley.

A beating B and B beating C does not mean A will beat C, and Cotto MIGHT be able to get another victory against Mosley.

It doesn't matter, though. Mosley is CLEARLY the top dog at welterweight.

Personally, I think Mosley should shoot for the biggest fish to fry--Floyd.

Floyd-Mosley is a bigger fight than a Cotto rematch.

I do not, however, think Mosley will get that fight. I do think he will wind up facing Cotto soon, but he doesn't need the rematch right now quite as badly. At the same time, I can see why you'd say you want to see it, and it would appear Shane might agree with you.

Personally, I think Shane wins a rematch decisively. Cotto will give him more problems than Margo did, but I'm thinking clear points victory, possibly late stoppage.

    We shall see.
