Jennings looked terrified from the start....tactically he probably fought the right fight to begin with but within 2 rounds it was quite clear those tactics were never going to work....did he then change those tactics ? no....did he throw caution to the wind and try and get him out of their while he still had the freshness ? no....he settled for not quitting but not actually trying to win....thats not guts in my book......a real game man thinks he is winning even when he is losing and will try to win no matter what....and that wasnt jennings....personally i think he had a good opportunity which most dont get....but didnt make the most of it technically inferior, physically smaller or not.
He didn't have the punch/ strength to change tactics. If he'd have stood his ground and traded in the 4th I'd have called him a muppet. He had one shot and it didn't pan out for him.
Some of the praise Jennings has had is a but OTT. He certainly didn't embarass himself, sure, he did good. Nothing more, nothing less (my new favourite saying :yep)
Mate if you dont agree with what im saying thats fine make your point....but dont get all childish and start silly boys name calling !.....id say with near on 10,000 posts and childish names when someone disagrees with you....your the keyboard warrior not me !
You are entitled to your opinion but to say that Jennings should have (or could have) done more probably shows what you know about boxing. I may have 10k posts (and 4 years!) on this forum but I''m not a gobshite who hides behind a keyboard and gives other posters **** for expressing an opinion or critizises boxers when they've done the best they can possibly do but you are way out of line on this matter IMHO.
wow 4 years on an internet forum....im impressed you must really know your **** then .....thats the funny thing with the internet, you never know who your talking to....i,ll leave it at that save embarrassing you further.....maybe its not sensible to start silly name calling to people you dont know just because they dont agree with you
All true....but talking about guts when you have never faced a machine like Cotto (whoever the **** you are) does make you look a bit of a twat keyboard warrior :good
