Why Do Some Of You People Support Margarito?

    I dont understand some of yall... this guy DEFINITELY & UNDOUBTEDLY cheated... to what extent we are not completely sure yet..... but what is official is that he cheated and he did unfairly gained an advantage of his opponents.... why do some of you people actually condone this? its disgusting to be honest.....

    i really would like to understand it..... how can you openly accept someone who is a cheater?

    not only a cheater...
    but cheats @ something where the final result could be death...

    where not talking about stealing a couple extra 100$ bills in a game of monopoly.... or doing a code on a video game.... were talking about loading your gloves and putting someones life on the line.....

    im asking a serious question....

    paul williams is by miles & miles my favorite boxer but if he loaded his gloves that would take away from why i like him.... that would take away from what he has accomplished in his career so far and to me he would just be a dirty cheat & i wouldnt care for him any more...

    i just truly dont understand why people are still supporting margarito threw this mess

    So if this happened to Williams, and he claims he didn't know anything about it, and the actual VERDICT on what was on the wraps, IF even anything, hasn't even been made yet through a sloppy investigation, you'd drop Williams like a a hot potato? :huh

    As of yet there is no proof he cheated!

    The only honest claim you can possibly make is that he ATTEMPTED to cheat.

    Why are questioning fight fans loyalty?

    As for me I like fighters who brings in action inside the ring . . . and I've long been a Margarito fan since I saw him fight Daniel Santos to a NO CONTEST. The guy has a big fighting heart and brings in a lot of action so win or lose I've always watched him.

    . . . as to the cheating scandal . . . it is inconclusive and it's not enough to convince me to "junk" the guy.

    Stop hating punk . . . you haters always finds a way to pull down fighters that you hate to death. Live with the facts . . . Margarito have a bigger name than Paul Williams. :deal

    I dont get it, their fans so they may just want to see him in the best light. Margo is innocent, his trainer would try stick hard things in his wraps and hope Margo doesn't notice because Margo would go mental if he found out.

    I would be so disappointed if my fav fighters tried to cheat. I think its obvious that they tried to cheat, although the wraps may not have been half as bad as it was made to be. Just trying to gain a slight advantage.

    yes man..... if i found out williams cheated everything up to the point of when he cheated would have a cloud over it... he would have let me down as a fan because i believed in him and supported him because of the hard work that he puts outside of the ring which has great results in the ring... not because he cheats his way through it

    what do you mean there is no proof..... he got a 1 year ban....
    ban = guilty


    so explain to me why he got a 1 year ban if there is no "conclusive evidence" that he cheated

    Good to see you stick when the goings get tough. Look, if the final reports comes in stating there was a hardening agent applied, that's one thing. If it was merely wet, that's another. Are they both bad? Yes. Are they equal? Hell no.
