I don't think Winky has enough power or size to keep Pavlik Honest ..... I see Pavlik losing some rounds but overall probably winning a UD due to workrate

I hope pavlik all the best and hope he becomes a great champion, i think he definately beats abraham and sturm, but against fighters who have proven that they are world class fighters he will struggle. I thought the first fight with taylor should have been stopped in the 2nd round, and in the 2nd fight i scored it for taylor. when he comes up against winky and williams he will be truly tested then.

In ten years time pavlik might be compared to felix trinidad, as i can see pavlik struggling against boxers like trinidad did, but he will always have the raw power to KO anyone who wants to come and fight, which is where trinidad excelled.

The Winky who fought Tito decisively beats both Pavlik and King Arthur Abraham. The Pavlik fight would be an exciting, busy, yet one-sided boxing match, while Winky jabs his way through Abraham in a dull fight remembered as the "Turtle Shell Fight" :D

But I don't know what Winky has left at this point, he's most likely nowhere near his Tito/Taylor form, so probably Kelly by workmanlike close decision.

I'm going to say Pavlik by close, probably controversial decision. He can keep up enough of a pace to win, but Winky has forgotten more about the finer points of defense than Pavlik has ever learned.

I love this poll. It reminds me of the Taylor and Miranda polls:think

Would you be nervous if it was a Hopkins-like poll? :D

Just kidding. Prime vs. prime, this is not a hard fight to pick.

I just hope that Wright loses to Williams and call it quits b/c Williams won't get to fight Pavlik anytime soon with Al Haymon being his advisor.

So I see Williams in a desperate situation and with Goossen's confident in his fighter, we might get P-Will vs. Abraham instead of Pavlik vs. Abraham...

Prime Winky was 154. If he was naturally 160, and could come in around 168-170 at fight time, it's an easy pick.

You are an idiot. He had Taylor hurt in the 11th and has stated he needed about 20 more seconds to close it. Rubio was so beat up he couldn't get off his stool for the 10th. I was at the fight. I told my son at that point it was a good thing Rubio was in his own corner cuz I don't think he could have made it back without assistance. Rubio had a good defense, but couldn't pull the trigger against Kelly. It takes a real idiot to have less boxig smarts than me. Congratulations. :thumbsup

I'd say Winky in a close fight..He hasn't fought since 2007 and I really think he's gonna look a little rusty in his fight with Paul..Winky UD 115-113 across the board over Kelly

Lost the thread you were talking about money demands for Pavlik/Abraham. Is it time for Saurland to make the demands public to put the pressure on?

Arum again repeated that PW/Goosen jerked him around for a month with the Pavlik fight and WILL NOT reward them with a payday.
