would be much easier to make the fight at 147 . would be nice to get it over here though, but think it would have to be in vegas.

I think Cotto was simply calling out all the names around him.

He would not agree to a fight at 140. He knows how tough it was to make, how it affected his performance...and this was 3 years ago. I doubt he could even make the weight full-stop.

It could be possible to do at a catchweight like 145, but then you have to wonder what the point of that would be when a welterweight title could be on the line.

I don't think it be easier for ricky to beat him tho as he's never looked good at welterweight and is arguably going up against the best one there is. Might be a big money fight but to much for ricky at 147 i think

If this fight were to go ahead I would feel sorry for Setanta. They have already lost coverage of the pacquiao fight and to lose the cotto fight would mean they are missing fights involving the two biggest fighters from the top rank deal.

No way in hell does Hatton beat Cotto at 147.

It would be a good scrap while it lasted though.

    Cotto in 7 for me.

How many of his last 6 fights did he have home advantage?

You can't even twist the truth - you just blatantly lie

    Embarrassing, to be honest

Hatton wont fight him. If he does he loses, by TKO mid rounds, he cant outbox him and wont be as strong as Cotto. All wrong for Hatton. Cotto TKO 7

  10. I never get why Hatton gets so much crap for him not doing well in the 147 division :huh

PPL here would critisise Hatton for having the fight at 140.... But why should he fight at 147 ??? Either way it would be a bolied down Cotto or a Blown up Hatton.

Do the same ppl who give Hatton **** for not fighting at 147 also give Cotto an Margarito **** for not fighting at 154 ????? I thought not

The fact is Hatton will never be a 147 fighter he is 5ft 6 for gods sake, could you imagine him vs a 6ft 1 Margarito.

BECAUSE THATS WHAT HATTON SAID! Shane started his career at 35. He`s a 3 division champ. Floyd started at 130 he`s a 4 division champ. Even gatti who started at 130 rose through the weights more succesfuly than Ricky. DLH Judah and Cotto have all done the same rising in weight succesfully. But Ricky who is 5ft 6 gets a bly!??! Honestly you havent got a clue. Do you think it was the aforementioned that allowed them any physical advantages at the higher weight? Do you think thats what allowed Pac-Man to succesfully move up in weight or B Hop or Roy Jones. Tell you what il let you guess...

And for the record Margo is 5ft 11. Cotto is 5ft 7. An inch taller than Hatton. Whats Cotto`s excuse? Was he too short too?

but the difference between all those guys and hatton is the fact hatton wasn't struggling to make 140.

all those guys had outgrown the weight class. ricky never did and never has. :nono
