I think what Tom is trying to refer is the sudden appearence of John Duddy, 2 days after Arum made it clear he's the #1 candidate to be next in line for Pavlik. What a coincidence! (Don't get the wrong idea that beating Matt ":D:D:D" Vanda (lost 5 out of last 7) has anything to do with it).

No, I mean the German dominance at middleweight.

Nearly the half of those in the ratings fight out of Germany and 3 others had their biggest success there...so 7 out of 10 of that list are best known for fighting in Germany...

Randy Griffin has nothing to do with Germany, just cos he had his 2 big fights over there against the same guy.

Javier Castillejo aswell, he's only fought in Germany for the last 2 years and last 5 fights, 3 of them against German's anyway.

The fact is, only 3 of them are German.

Both Gevor and Abraham have a german citizenship and therefore Germans altough having Armenian roots.

But that don't matter that much...I just wanted to point out that 7 out of ten had their recent, biggest success in Germany. Both are far more known in Germany than in the States...
