    Wlad is an interesting fighter, on his best day he has a chance to beat anyone in hisotry, on his off - nights he was beaten by far lesser fighters. I think the difference between the best and the worst version of Wlad, before ever losing his prime, is bigger than with most fighters. During a whole career, he would have lesser nights and on those could lose against quite a few fighters on that list. On his best night, he would be tough to beat. Lewis would be the toughest assignement, followed by Tyson, Ali and Bowe.

    He easily beats Liston. Liston was slow on his feet and reigned in an eras of small HW's. A short fighter would Tyson - like movement to get land punches on Wlad. Frazier would run into a brick wall, worse than against Foreman. I also would pick Wlad on his best night over Ali.

    it's certainly possible Bowe could win. I just think he was more effective inside and wlad won't let him make it an inside fight. wlad will try to make it a jabfest and outside fight. Here, Wlad throws a much straighter and faster right cross than Bowe who really kind of looped it in.

    I tend to think Wlad's foot movement will bother Bowe a lot too. COuld be a fight where wlad hits the deck a couple of times but squeaks out a pts win.

    Vitali against the same opponents fairs better imo. Slic boxers like Ali and Holmes give him the most trouble. The aggressive brawlers/swarmers are made to order for Vitali though. Lewis is a tough matchup for anyone and aside from 60's Ali is the only one id make a clear cut favorite over Vitali. Holmes is close to tossup.

    * Patterson -- Vitali by early stoppage
    * Johansson -- Vitali by early stoppage
    * Liston -- Vitali by late stoppage
    * Ali -- Ali by pts (60's Ali)
    * Frazier -- Vitali by late stoppage
    * Foreman -- Vitali by late stoppage
    * L. Spinks -- Vitali by early stoppage
    * Holmes -- Holmes by pts
    * M. Spinks -- Vitali by late stoppage
    * Tyson -- Tyson by early stoppage or Vitali by late stoppage -- coinflip fight
    * Douglas -- Vitali by mid-round stoppage
    * Holyfield -- Vitali by pts
    * Bowe -- Vitali by late stoppage
    * Moorer -- Vitali mid-round stoppage
    * Briggs -- Vitali early stoppage
    * Lewis -- Lewis on pts or cuts :yep

    Vitali-Tyson would be a perfect style clash and create a war. This is my all-time favortie fantasy fight. If Tyson doesn't get him out early (first 5 rounds or so), I think Vitali takes control and grinds him down late with his size and strength. Could see it going either way.

    so 12-4 or 13-3 for Vitali.

    No way Patterson/Johansson make it the distance with Wlad unless they are really defensive

    Bonus Picks:

    Wlad mid-round stoppage Haye
    Wlad late-round stoppage Bruno

    :yep :yep :yep

    And don´t forget Wladimir had his worst fights with Fritz Sdunek because this trainer knows to less of real professional boxing.

    With Emanuel Steward Wlad improved. If Wlad could continue his training with american coaches (in 1998 he works with Don Turner, for Mercer with Tommy Brooks and than Freddy Roach, at least Steward) and if Wlad did never worked with Sdunek, Wlad didn´t have the losses.

    To become a real Heavyweight Champion who need an defence and a trainer who teaches you well. Prepared good for the fights with sparring etc.

    Wladimir won olympic gold in 1996 and turned pro in 1996. For the first 10 fights he worked with his old amateur trainer Zolotarew and than he had to train with Sdunek, Chef coach of Universum Boxpromotion. Wlad had the desire to train with american professional coaches but Sdunek always come into the picture. Because he was the Chef Coach of Universum and in germany you can not choose your trainer. In germany the promoter had same trainers and the boxers had to work with them.

    The worst thing in professinonal boxing is: Promoter and Manager are the same person! Your trainer works for your promoter which is also your manager. In germany these are the facts. And that can become very very worse for every boxer!!! In the US this is not allowed because of the Muhammad Ali acts.

    In 2004 Wlad wants Steward in his corner and Emanuel Steward was the first one who stayed. Wlad lost to Brewster, but Steward stayed with Wladimir. The plan did not work. Not this time. Wlad asserts himself for the first time. :happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy

    And since this time Wladimir had improved as a boxer.

    He didn't match up very well against Golota. Why all the support for Bowe?. I think he goes crashing out of the ring against Wlad.
    He's not that much better than Austin and about the same size.

    There is no way on Gods green earth that Waldo beats any version of George Foreman, no way, no how.:deal In fact Wlad would probably be KO'ed by Georges mere presence
