Just because a boxer loses a fight it is no reason to stake them.

I think the HBO commentators exposed Pavlik for not being that good of an elitist.

No it isn't because of the loss ... I figured that Hopkins would beat him once the fight was announced ... he was a hot commodity before the loss, now TopRank is going to do what it takes to protect him.

Hell yes he was. His weaknesses were exposed, and those weaknesses lost him the fight.
    Weaknesses:

Defense - His defense is bad, all he knows how to do is put his gloves up.
Footwork - Bad. Needs way more training.
Lateral Movement - Horrible. Needs some serious help.
Ring Intelligence - Hopkins is way to intellignet in the ring.
Trainer - Lowe can only take him so far. Something needs to change.

All of his weaknesses were used against him. He was definetely schooled & exposed.

People should have known that Pavlik lacked skills and had no defense, it was nothing new for people that understand what they see rather than just fall for hype.

NO he can't ... 9 yrs as a pro ... he hasn't made any improvements on anything.

There is no room for improvements -- he has too many flaws to correct !!

For you guys who believe - keep believing !!

I wouldn't say that. You give him a trainer like Mayweather SR., he'll definetely make Pav look better. Give him Roach or E Stew, they'll make him look better.
