Clottey: Cotto will be running like that nobody Jennings if we fight

Clottey was well within his senses to make those comments.

He is getting passed up time and time again for lesser boxers because of his lack of marketability. Some people want everyone to act like choirboys and ****, but that doesn't pay the bills. He saw the same thing everyone else saw. A weak-ass Jennings who didn't even belong in the ring with Cotto.

As far as the fight goes, Clottey is a tank. Cotto will be the one with running shoes on. Cotto's body attack will be a waste of energy on Cotto's part, and will only result in him taking a left hook or uppercut at the wrong time. Lights out.

Relative to what though? He's pretty well known domestically, won titles, fought at MSG now, boxing is just as much about lads like him as the big names.

The PR News quoted Cotto saying that he is getting ready for Clottey. This is a hard fight for Miguel but totally winnable. I believe that Joshua has a great chin but if he stands too much against the ropes with the picabuu defense... Cotto can definately capitalize on that BIG time.

 

yeah, this is pretty much what most reasonable people are agreeing on, Clottey should get a new trainer after he loses to Cotto, someone who can teach him to intergrate his offense and defense and not have to choose btwn. the 2, cuzz i cant see him beating in elite fighter with the style he has
