So why put all the options on Haye .?

...........because he knows wont sign it and he can avoid him till Vitali is free !

co-sign, people need to get off Hayes nuts on this "he aint earned his title shot" bull****....who was the unified CW champ and he's KO 2 ranked HW's as has been said, i mean ****.....when P.Williams went to fight Phillips for his title did people say "he needs to earn his shot!", no they didn't.....or when B-hop went to fight Tarver? how about when Roy Jones went to fight Ruiz? or Marquez went to fight Cassamayor?

nah, that don't mean ****...fact is Haye's proven himself as a fighter, and without even having to KO those 2 clowns at HW he was a legitmate threat to Wlads title, and far more of a threat then those clowns like Thompson, Rahman, Ibragimov etc etc

but newayz back to the topic at hand, i dont think we need to worry as boxing fans, this fight will happen, be it Vitali or Wladamir, Haye will fight a Klitscko this summer they both know that this is the fight the fans wanna see and this is the fight that there careers need and they're wallets would benefit from

so yeah, be patient they'll come to agreeable terms sooner or later

If that is what the intention was then why would Wlad have offered Haye a fight in the first place? It isn't as if he had to.

All WHAT options? A rematch clause and then giving Haye a shot at Vitali, the WBC title, and the Ring magazine title directly afterwards? This is a bad thing? THAT IS WHAT HAYE WANTED!!

If you guys would get your heads out of your asses you would know by now that HAYE HAS AGREED TO THE REMATCH CLAUSE!! That is NOT what is holding this up. So... you entire point is completely worthless. You keep acting like some big options clause is keeping Haye from signing. What is keeping this fight from being made is that Haye wants more than he is worth AND he can't provide what he said he could bring to the table.

, seriously though the mans a warrior...people get mad and call fighters Cherrypickers cuzz they dont wanna fight the best, now when Haye's looking to go in there and mix it up with 2 best guys in the world at HW, they wanna he say he aint earned his shot, like wtf? GTFO, they're just some haters lookin for a reason to hate

just imagine what people would be sayin if Haye was trying to go after Valuev instead of the Klit Bros.

"HAYES A COWARD, WHY DONT HE FACE A REAL HW LIKE WLAD OR VITALI!"

feel me? shits ridicilous and as far as the terms go aint like Hayes asking them to fight at a catchweight or anything unresonable, so why try and play him with that double rematch (if thats what you wanna label it as) clause...it's bull****

but yeah like i said, i'm sure it'll happen it's just a matter of time, same **** was goin on with the Pac-Hatton fight too, big fights always take some time to work out

    :lol::lol::lol:

    Good one

I saw that Chris Cornell video for the first time the other night and I didnt even realise it was him at first ( it was my wife that noticed ! ).

He certainly seems to be doing the celebrity lefesytle thing now , perhaps he senses retirement aint all that far away , a career in the movies beckoning ?

For all I think he doesn't want Haye and I think Haye would beat him you certainly can't knock him as a dude , doesn't take himslef too seriously and has good taste in chicks !

There's a huge difference between options and a rematch clause, if they're actually asking for options.

That said, I'm inclined to side with K2 here. As mentioned a few times already, they don't have a reputation for being hardass negotiators, and in a he said-she said situation, I'll take their word over Booth's word.

However, there's a big difference between this negotiation and the Ibragamov negotiation, or any other negotiation for that matter. This is the first time in Wlad's career that he's potentially facing someone who (a) has some leverage and (b) is a threat to actually win. Ibragamov had no chance of beating Wlad. Haye doesn't have a great chance of beating Wlad, but his people know that he's chinny and that Haye throws quick, powerful punches. They need to have their ass covered in case Haye actually wins, which is why it might be true that they're asking for options here.

The posters who are still going on about this rematch clause have no ****in' clue what they are talking about. After all of this time... after Haye AND Haye's manager coming out to the public explaining that they have no problem with that part of the contract... you guys STILL can't grasp it. You guys still don't understand that it was HAYE who wanted to fight both brothers and came out weeks ago saying that he was negotiating a deal to where he fought fight BOTH brothers. You guys are slow.

    Exactly correct
So tired of these threads from Haye fans blasting Wlad about the options....
GUYS!!!!! Go read some of Haye's interviews and you will see that the options and the purse split were fine with Haye.. other things fell apart.
If Haye has no problem with the options, why do you?:huh

Well said... It's all biz. And I can see the points of both sides.

Top fighters ain't "scared" to fight anybody.
Otherwise they wouldn't be there in the first place.

Managers & promoters get scared... not fighters.

    Another good point.

K2 knows that there is a chance that Haye could starch Wlad, so they want to line up their ducks ahead of time, so they don't end up on the outside looking in.

It all comes down to $$... and K2 isn't going to be punked off by some Johnny come lately. They hold the belts... They have the options.
