How Cotto will beat Clottey!

il hold my hands up and admit i was wrong i've never done any different but to me cotto is overrated and i think you'll be the one conceding that the day after the fight

Clottley via UD or late KO. Clottley is a very BIG and solid WW. Cotto is skilled and solid himself but guys like Marg and Josh have the advantage over the smaller Cotto. I see a good showing but ultimately Josh pulls out the "W".

 

Its hard to be overrated when you have a decent record like Cotto. Now just look at Clotteys' resume and tell me that is not overrrated.

 

What fighter has Clottey EVER beaten that makes you think he can beat someone on Cotto's level? I have not seen that name yet.

 

Find me the post where I said Clottey wins this. These are two good fighters. If the fight is made, I expect it to be a good fight. Both fighters have the ability to win. You're the typical delusional Cotto fan that I was talking about. You were probably part of the same crew that predicted Cotto would destroy Margo. You probably had a different screen name back then. We've seen that Cotto will quit when it gets too rough for him. Clottey won't quit. Cotto can't simply win this fight by overwhelming Clottey.

 

I think this will be the best defnsive fighter Cotto has ever fought. Hes gonna get pissed when hes not landing at all. Cottos shot is to work the body all night long. But I think Clottey can beat Cotto by presuure and has great power too. I expect a classic and hopefully Cotto picks Clottey to fight next. if I hear hes fighting Cinrtron than I'm not watching it, and I'm one with Cotto. that would be 3 cupcakes in his last 4 fights.

 

He really did hurt his hand in the Margarito fight. Hes was beating that ass, and his other loss was to Baldmoir thats was BS too.

 

i think you need to look up and define the word overrated its a relative term cotto is made out to be a brilliant complete special fighter on these boards but to me hes simply a good solid fighter that doesnt mean i dont rate the guy but relative to the praise heaped on him by other posters hes overrated. Look back through my posts and tell me where i overrate clottey ive simply put forward to you that i think clottey has what it takes to beat cotto stylistically

 

I see people talking about Joshua's size advantage but did we forget about Thiam in the Tito fight? Size doesnt really mean **** unless you really know how to use it to your advantage and Joshua doesnt. He is going to employ that "turtle defense" **** and Cotto is going to go crazy on his body. As far I can remember I have never seen Joshua walk anyone down not even Zab for that matter.....

Cotto has been hurt again and again and again. Clottey will hurt him also. And just like Margo, once he hurts him he has no fear of Cotto's blows, and will walk him down without worry. And to the guy who said Clottey wouldn't be able to stand Cotto's body blows... You're dumb. Period.

Cotto is good, but he has limitations, although you wouldn't know it from his fans.

 

cotto also has no survival instincts against marg he just dropped his hands when hurt he has no idea how to react under that kind of pressure
