Clottey is not a pressure fighter. He stays in his shell can counters. Cotto wont stand in front of him the whole fight. He will move around and box his ears off.

Cotto should go back to fighting tiny lightweights like Victoriano sosa or journeyman likealfonso gomez cuz that's the only time he looks like a killer. He had to wait 7 years after turning pro just to fight Zab JUdah as his first real test?? Cotto is the most babied fighter i know.

Excellent point Joker, I was just reminded of the Zab Judah fight when Judah would tee off on Clottey (not to much avail)and Clottey would just cover up and wait for him to stop

Did you miss the part where Clottey was backing Judah up and beating the **** out of him? Clottey let Judah punch himself out early and then applied the pressure later on in that fight. It was a brilliant gameplan and he should've gotten a 9th round TKO.

Did you miss the point that Zab was as shot as Chico was when Clottey won that fight? Besides, what great win does Zab has under his belt?

Yep , but do you think he can do the same to Cotto? I think Cotto will outbox him to a tough fought close UD.

That same shot Zab Judah is Cotto's second best win. And Clottey's face wasn't busted up after fighting Judah, and he didn't have to resort to low blows to beat him either.

If Cotto starts eating leather, he will get on his bike. Clottey is big enough and strong enough to keep Cotto moving backwards. Cotto will have to outpoint Clottey to win. This fight reminds me a bit of Cotto's fight with Mosley, except Clottey is a better defensive fighter. Like in the Mosley fight, Cotto will be facing a bigger, stronger fighter who can take his punches.
