these guys just dont get it. they'll get it when 5 years pass and they realize they might not see a better boxer since Mayweather.

sure at one time we respected the **** outta him, but when he became a business minded fighter is when everything started going downhill for him...especially now that guys like shane havn't even hung'em up yet, but a guy like floyd did....mosley did what floyd did many years ago, yet somehow floyd is rated higher....haahahahah what a joke

 

exactly why he's losing respect...sure right now it's all gravy and his last 2 wins (which weren't really huge, and one was a split decision) were recent...but what's gonna happen if he dont come back is, everybody around him that keeps fighting each other are gonna get the respect that floyd left behind...and people will eventually forget about him....

for example, look at the manny vs oscar fight..many laugh at floyd now for splitting with him :good

actually its the other way around. when the ppl he beat start winning some more. Jesus Chavez can still become champ and he had a war with Mayweather. what if Hatton beats Pacquaio?? that makes Mayweather win even better no matter the weight class. what if somehow Judah goes down to 140 and cleans up, just adds to Mayweather. when your champ for 11 years, its got to get boring. come on guys, he never even had a close fight, and the one fight ppl thought was close he gave a rematch right off the back. im just happy hes retired
