WHO CARES!!! yo must realize all Cotto is doing is fighting the top guys like Mayweather did at 130. why do ppl think Mayweather started at 140 or 147. if Cotto goes to his 4 weight class, see what he does at middle weight then. ppl these days. and actually at 130 and 135 ( which would be Cotto at 140,147) Cotto anit even close comparing. Mayweather never took a easy fight at those weight classes, never took a Gomez oe Jennings, so your way off buddy. Just think about it...

Mayweather still my boy no matter what. The hate on the man is ridiculous and thats why he not dealing with the **** anymore. They won't be satisfied until he becomes like RJJ, KTFO and then thinks he is the same as he was in his prime at age 40 when he has been shot since 34.

Everyone hated RJJ until he was KTFO. People never appreciate certain fighters, the ones who can be a bit arrogant sometimes, until they get utterly destroyed. And then when they are no longer great and can't do anything, then people value them. People won't value Floyd because he hasn't been humbled yet.

Man you must be crazy...When I went to the LA press conference for the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight...Oscar bounced and didn't talk to any fans..floyd stopped and signed as did Mosley...Oscar juss up and bounced after talking to the media....Cherrypicks and comparing resumes at 147..LETS COMPARE THE WHOLE RESUME AND THE WHOLE CAREER...COTTO ISN'T IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS FLOYD AS FAR AS WHOLE CAREERS GO...DIDN'T COTTO GET KNOCKED DOWN BY RICARDO TORRES:huh

Yet people always shits on him and talk about what he never do for his fans...I like how they dont mention how he's trying to build community centers for the youth in his hometown...Haters always over look the those facts.

Floyds skills have to be respected. His personality , for the most part, isn't.
He's a guy who blows a lot of smoke, and I don't mean Derrick Gainer. He compares himself to greats like Ray Robinson, but doesn't quite have the resume' to do so.
So, you'd expect him to take on everyone from Cotto to Williams. When he doesn't he appears to be just a bag of wind.

How will Floyd's resume look when Pac beats the **** out of an arguably improved Hatton trained under Floyd Senior?

It will probably look worse because people will begin to view Hatton as a much more limited one dimensional fighter and perhaps not as great a win as was initially thought.

I think Freddy is on to something about how Floyd's resume started looking worse when Pac also beat the **** outta De La Hoya when Floyd barely managed to scrape by and was reluctant to open up on De La Hoya despite De La Hoya slowing down and despite Roger repeatedly telling Floyd to start throwing his hands.

At the end of the day, Floyd's resume will be looking much worse, and this is especially true if Oscar continues to decline and Sugar Shane continues to win, and then combined with the fact that Pac will likely beat Hatton much more convincingly than Floyd.

This means that Floyd's resume will be severely tained with maybe Diego Corrales as his best win, who is a fighter that may make it to the Hall of Fame, but it isn't necessarily because of his resume or his tallent, but his wars with other fighters and the fact that he died at such a young age.

I think this is why ESB is beggining to lose respect for Floyd.

PBF was never respected that much here. It's a shame.

A serious question for you...Do you honestly think Floyd gives a **** about what a bunch of posters on a website has to say about him?

Exactly. Floyd probably came on ESB for motivation for his last few fights if anything.

Axe Man makes 2 threads a day about PBF! :patsch
