i don't doubt that floyd could beat any of them. the problem with this is floyd didn't fought any single one. those welterweights have fought each other around but didn't saw floyd in the equation. we could have seen at least one. that's the only beef i had with floyd. i don't care much about his personality.

 

You can't be mad at a man who wants to retire.

 

I know it might be hard for you to understand, but some of us want to see the best fighters fighting the best fighters in their division. Its not that we want to see Floyd fight any one specific fighter, its that we want to see him fight the best in the division.

 

Then you guys need to ask for the current best fighters to fight each other. If you're gonna ask PBF to fight those guys, you might as well ask for Pernell, Hearns & SRL to fight them too

I see a few arguments that Floyd faught the best fighters when he was coming up. That means you acknowlegdge that Floyd later in his career has shyed away from that kind of comp, which is contrarty to what 99 percent of most boxers do. If thats ok with you all, than thats cool, but some of us like to see a great fighter like floyd fight fighters who actually pose a threat to him. Lots of you made fun of people for thinking fighters like Gatti, Hatton, Zab, etc. actually stood a chance to beat floyd, this meant that floyd is actually fighting fighters who only a moron knows he cant beat. You joyboys are owning yourselves

 

Actually, were making fun of the tools that picked Gatti to win then changed their tune after the fight.

not that mad nor hate him. it's just frustrating that he retired when i am starting to become a fan. of course he has the right to retire especially if the fire is gone. i still respect him but it could have been much greater.

 

Honestly, I don't think it would've been enough. Everyone of those guys that ppl wanted to see him fight besides Pac & Mosley would've been labeled "overhyped" if PBF would've beat him.
