Since I might not get a chance to see it tonight, I didn't look at the entire fight card for the Contender finale until this morning.

So, anyway, is Ding-a-Ling Man on the card and I somehow missed it, he have training scheduled for another fight or did Versus just plain snub him?

Also, I was a bit annoyed with the way he was edited on the show: all the shots were of him eating, looking worried on the scale, psyching out the other fighters, etc. Everybody else seemed to get about 15 minutes of lovey-dovey "ain't he a swell guy" time, but I felt like he got the villain treatment. Anybody else get that feeling or did it seem alright by you?

Maybe he didn't give the post-production staff a lot of diverse options, ever think of that? ;)

He underperformed bigtime and his head clearly isn't at the game (or at least wasn't a few months ago), I'm not surprised he's been left off tonight's card to be honest.

    Broadcast begins at eight EST.

It'll probably be a two-hour special; I'm guessing they'll only televise the semi-final runners-up and the main event (maybe one of the other matchups prerecorded in the case of early knockouts)

Oops, you got the time up before I did.

Yeah, he looked absolutely frozen in that bout, but I remember having heard good things about him last year. I'm always suspicious of the way reality shows clip things together to make a good guy/bad guy narrative - was just checking if I was rooting for the underdog or just drinking kool-aid.
