Dont surf boxrec looking at stats. The reason why Shane never even stopped off at 140 was because he wouldnt have been able to make the weight. How Shane boiled down to 135 il never know. I remember when he fought Demetrius Ceballos. Shane came into the ring at a whopping 159lbs after rehydrating. Another reason why he skipped 140 was because he was also chasing a fight with DLH for Californian bragging rights.

I have ALL of Shanes fights on VHS. Theres a reason why the ring have him ranked as a top 20 light weight of all time. The man defended the IBF i think 8 or 9 times. Everyone of those victorys was by KO. Down at 35 he had an over 90% KO ratio and was knocking out everyone in sight. Its going to be sad sad day when Sugar Shane calls it time.

:thumbsup:thumbsup Explain it old timer to these dam rookies! Remember back in college Shane was an avid power lifter as well. The guy was as strong as an ox. I still dont understand "how" he made 135..:yikes
