I don't think that Pavlik will be able to live up to the moment he had when he beat Taylor.

Well, considering the lack of analysis here, I don't think you can think at all. Yeah. All downhill for him from here based on what? Can you at least PRETEND to try instead or running up your post count so newbs will be fooled into thinking you know something? Please!

the boxer who has the better chance of beating kessler and taylor would be the answer...
Pav and AA can easily beat bute and andrade..now, to answer the question i feel that Pav would have a better shot of better taylor and kessler

At the moment the best two guys at SMW are Kessler and Taylor. One of the two fighters in question already beat Taylor at 166. Think about it.

    Really?:think I didn't know that...thanks for telling me.:good

I guess that means Pavlik would beat everyone else at SMW too, huh?...:think

So, who is the best SMW in the world then, booradley, pray tell us, Pavlik or Kessler?:think

Oh, sorry, stupid question...of course it's Pavlik...just like he's clearly the best middle-weight...no need to prove that in the ring, just like Taylor need not prove in the ring that he's better than Bute, Andrade, Balzsay, etc.

Physically Abraham looked healthier at 168 compared to a slower Pavlik, but especially compared to his 160 self. Also, Kelly pretty much depends on outweighing the opposition and having the size and reach advantage, which is critical as his all game depends on moving forward and setting the tempo with the jab, which wasn't there in the Hopkins fight.

But on the other hand, Abraham is a short fighter even for a MW, so his height would be an even bigger disadvantage at 168. I also think Kelly would do better if he had the time, 2-3 fights to completely adjust to the new weight, putting on a few pounds of muscle.

Who is going to beat Taylor or Kessler? That's the real question. Abraham would get absolutely schooled by either guy. We're not talking Marquez, Ayala, or Simon here. We're talking Jermain Taylor and Mikkel Kessler, and both beat Arthur 10 rounds to 2, easy.

If Froch and Balzsay are to be dismissed out of hand, then I'd give Andrade and Bute a pretty good chance of beating him. I might even pick both to beat Pavlik too, in fact, but unlike you, I'm not saying they're clearly better than either Pavlik or Taylor, for example. That would have to be decided in the ring.

Talk of Froch nuthuggers, huh? Seems like you Pavlik boys are making a comback...

My central theme in many of the Abraham related posts I've made over the last couple months is simply this: You have to judge a fighter by what he has actually accomplished in the ring. The rest is just guess work. Abraham has never faced anyone in the same class with Taylor; not even close. Therefore, there is no basis for believing he is some kind of super hero.

So how exactly does what Taylor has accomplished in the ring lead you to state confidently he'd very likely beat Andrade and Bute, say, if styles-make-fights is to be thrown out of the window, of course...
