The first fighter to spring to mind when I think of this is Sonny Liston.

somebody said hagler was a scary ****er and that is 100% correct.
remember when mickey "brillo pad" duff said that hagler had a bit of the dog in him before hagler fought sibson.hagler was ready to tear sibson apart at the weigh in because sibson touched him.
mr intimidator is big sonny who invented the stare down.
big george was frightening before he fought ali and everybody(me included) feared for ali's life.
joe louis had fighters beaten before combat without doing anything.

kid norfolk looks like Chris Eubank

i think Hagler was a scary brute in a sort of i hate you kinda way. Hearns had a right stare on him too. i would think Duran is scary too.

but dont you think those calm almost hitman like personalities scare you the most like

    Louis
    Monzon

Mike Tyson....especially when he does the 'walk around the ring ' thing , he like a lion they just let loose in the ring .

Hagler when he goes back to his corner and beats himself in the head , like a crazy mofo.

Second Coming of Foreman , he had a chilling stare and yu know deep down every shot gonna hurt , it was like going to the Dentist , he could be the nicest man in the world , but in his office ...ohh man !!!

Funny thing is ..Foreman claimed he was SCARED of Frazier ...Wow musta been caged tiger syndrome

oh and fun factor IVAN DRAGO,(Rocky movies) at the Glove up ..YOU WILL LOSE!!!!

    Scary !!! lol

George mentioned in his book and in subsequent interviews that he was scared of Frazier before the 1973 title defense.

He knew that if he didn't get Joe out of the fight early, he'd risk getting knocked out himself as the fight went on. He also mentioned that he became more fearful of Joe after the 5th knockdown because Frazier just kept getting up and wouldn't quit.

I thought Tommy had some of the most intimidating staredowns of any fighter. Check out the staredowns vs Benitez and Duran for example. He's one of the very few men to look hard in jeri-curls. He just doesn't blink at all and I think that's why he looks so scary.
