I think this interview was last month (23rd of January). Bute is not wrong when saying he wanted to put a show. He did, but not in the 12th round! Bute should have known in the 10th and 11th he ws tired and slow down a bit. He did exactly the contrary. A t the very beginning ot the 12th, he did exchange a bit, but seriously it was alredy too late in terms of energy. From now on, he will know when his tank is near empty.

 

Bute and Larouche are intelligent people in the world of boxing. They won't do the same mistake twice...

 

I suppose the other feature bout will be the one of Renan St-Juste...Might be a good fight but I don't know his adversary.

6 kgs in 2 weeks. If I remember, it was the same against Andrade.

 

It was 5kgs in 5 days for Andrade, I think*. This one should be easy, if he starts cutting down now.

Ain't it great when someone pops up like that, telling us that Lucian Bute has a weak chin?...And we always have to explain why it looked like that against Andrade but wasn't really a matter of chin...

 

If only more top pro fighters thought Bute might be chinny...then they might not be so unwilling to take a free title shot against him...
