Pav can't box at all. AA can box. That is the difference between the two. Boxers last longer in this game than brawlers/stalkers. Pav is not great at what he does, but he is decent, and AA is great at defense. At 168, I see AA annihilating Pav stylewise T.

Andrade would be a dead man walking for AA.

Im backing Abraham on this. He is a huge middle and very strong he could handle the extra 8 pounds. KP has already looked dodgy above 160.

I do! It was an obviously provocative article to make people take notice of Bute, a guy no one had heard of then, even though he had beaten Bika and Berrio. I was saying Pavlik and Taylor would have a tough time against him and that I was picking Bute to beat either.

Now show me the post(s) that have led to my reputation as a Bute overrater, please!:smoke

Size does not matter to AA because he has great defense. He has fought tall guys, jabbers, and punchers, and beaten them all.

The knock against Pav is that he can't fight a smart fight...AA can. It doesn't matter who Pavlik beat or lost to at this point imo. Who Pav fought won';t help him in his fight with AA if they ever fight. Pav can't learn anything else in this sport. This fight comes down to styles. AA is faster, hits just as hard if not harder, and has the better defense. AA can match Pav in every department. AA has the speed and defense advantage, and that is why he ko's Pav early or late imo.

Which smart fighter almost equivalent to BHOP did AA fight to make you believe that AA would fir better against a crafty experienced fighter like Bernard?

Whole article. Frame it the way you want. Kelly had just won his title and you were making out Bute to be the ultimate test for him. No nut huggery in your mind I guess.

quick edit. Yeah. You picked 168 to beat either 160. Brave, Bold, Pick.

Pav might've beaten Taylor, but Taylor was not a complete fighter. He ran out of gas, and didn't really commit to PAv's body. AA would. You can talk about the difference in Pav and AA's comp all you want, but the same guys who picked Pav to ko hop were WRONG! Style wise this could be a mismatch! AA ko in 7 or less.

This is not a comparison. AA's numbers of defenses, and how he won them is what counts!

You are joking. You don't consider this front page article you wrote as a post so we just don't count it? The intent was obvious, you were holding Bute up as the pinnacle of achievement for Taylor and Pavlik. You may not consider that over rating, but I do.

Where am I overrating Bute, though?

Show me where, here, in my posts? That was an article supposed to make people say: "Bute? Who the **** is this guy? Let me check him out."

Where am I overrating Bute? Show me where I'm overrating his power/chin/speed, etc. here on ESB! Go on! :hi:

To go to Kelly's body, AA is going to have to reach. That will leave his chin open. Reach will be the key to this fight.

Mince words all you want. I don't care what you think you wrote, I have my own take on it as a reader. The very title over rates Bute in my opinion. I am entitled to it and that is that.
