Cotto by wide UD. Clottey's a good fighter, but Cotto is just a cut above... and if Clottey's bad stamina kicks in by the end of the fight I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto took him out late.

Cotto will win a decision, and then Clottey will complain that he had a swollen toenail and demand another title shot.

I don't have a problem with the hypetrain. Cotto has a lot of fans, and of course they will pick him.

Only problem O got is those who pick Cotto by KO. That is ****in ridiculous. If anyone is seeing stars at the end of the night it will be Miguel (unless he submits again)

I think it's unlikely either are stopped. Picking Clottey by stoppage, when he hasn't had a legitimate knockout in nearly 5 years, is just as ridiculous. Especially considering the opponents who were able to go the distance with him.

Judah was a legitimate stoppage. He made Judah quit.

Number 1, he should've been awarded a stoppage against Judah(that was definately a punch that caused that cut). Number 2, Mosley went almost 4 years without a stoppage. He has since stopped 4 out his last 5 opponents(ironically, Cotto was the only one he didn't stop). I'm not picking a stoppage, but Clottey has the better chance of getting a stoppage.

Corrales had his nose busted and his jaw broke against Clottey. Clearly, he was hitting Corrales pretty hard in that fight. We all see how Cotto reacts if he suffers too many facial injuries.

Not really. :verysad Clottey has never been known as much of a puncher.. and if anyone is gettin stopped it's Clottey IMO. Clottey has a history of fading in stamina late in fights and Cotto has made a living out of beating opponents down over several rounds and stopping them in the mid to later rounds.

You can say that a stoppage for either is unlikely, that's fine by me, but to say that Clottey has the better chance of a KO here over Cotto?! No, not gonna happen.

Mosley spent a decent amount of those four years campaigning above his natural fight weight against fighters like De Le Hoya and Winky Wright (2x). Clottey is a huge welterweight going the distance with smaller nondescript cats like Shamone Alvarez, Felix Flores, and a shopworn lightweight Chico Corrales. Big difference.

  14. Clotty by late stoppage, Clotty is to strong and will bust Cotto's face up, Cotto quit against Margo, and probaly will do it again under the same circumstances, Cotto is over-rated..

I thought 100% the Judah fight was heading for a TKO before the cut while I was watching it. Judah was being systematically taken apart.

Anyway, I've said it before, I think Clottey is the one who will decide the tempo of the fight. If he chooses to stay in his shell as many of you think or fight very defensively it will be dissappointing, and it will be Cotto's night.

But, The guy does what he has to do to win his fights. He is hard to beat because, unlike a guy like Margo, he adapts his gameplan based on what he sees. He knows against Cotto he will have to open up and let his hands go to win this one, and I think he will.

He gets a bad wrap for one fight where he was legitametly injured (Margo), which I still don't understand. Its as if people think that he was acting for the cameras when the doctors squeezed his arm in the 11th and he was in obvious pain from it..

Lastly, if Clottey is given his Africa Medicine, he will not only steamroll Cotto, but he could easily take on Berto and Mosley on the same night!
