I've never claimed to "be a boxer". I've been perfectly clear that I am NOT a boxer. I posted it, with words, on the forum, in response to one of your posts.

Let's be absolutley clear here - "you'll ge more respect by just saying it" - saying what? Be clear.

Lacy/Kessler can't really split them two.If I had to I'd say Lacy because he literally destroyed Lacy

  6. No he didn't. That is ****ing ridiculous bull****. Almost KO'd BHOP .. lmao.

Here, you'd have a better case for saying Salem, Mitchell, Hopkins, and Jones, Jr. almost KO'd Joe. In the 12th, Eubank almost KO'd Joe that is why he has holding on at the end.

That's a sad "top ten" selection for an ATG considering if you remove Hopkins and Jones because of their age you have Kessler and Lacy and end up with:

    Ye Olde Chris Eubank
    Robin Reid
    Byron Mitchell
    Kabary Saleem
Sakio Bika (which was just an abhorrently ugly fight to watch)
    Ritchie Woodhall

When you consider the only fighter he rematched was a guy he had alreay stopped once - It's really a pretty stark dressing down of his all time achievments.

That is not to say he's a bad fighter or he was a poor champ - But it really shows how his career and more importantly his legacy would have benefitted from leaving the relative safety of Wales and pushed Frank Warren to get over to the states or even Germany to take care of Otke and unify earlier.

If any Cal fans seriously want to contend that Otke in Germany is a more difficult win than Kessler at home then I can only interpret that as excuse making - It's a shame because I think with a little more flexability in terms of travel he could have REALLY stamped his name on history.

Kessler was a better win, but Lacy was Calzaghes defining fight and best performance, by far.

I went with Lacy because i have never seen a World champion look so lost in the middle of a ring.
