I don't know. One thing is sure: I didn't recognize Bute at the end of the fight against Andrade. We saw him numerous times in 12 rounders and nothing similar never happened. I know Andrade is strong. Bute also clinched, a thing he's not used to do. And the pace was pretty good all night long. But I' m still asking myself: what happened that night? Did he have to lose too much weight before the fight? Was it too late for him (fight was past midnight) as he is used to go to bed very early. Was he ill? I don't know. Maybe what I could call the fight reasons (above) are enough to explain he ran out of gas. But I just can't believe it. Bute works very hard in the gym and always had the best stamina in the ring, against any boxer he faced. It's one thing to get tired ot to meat someone wit a better stamina. It's another thing to collapse like he did.
Man Bute was dead tired that night because he had Andrade in his face for 12 rounds and nothing similar ever happened before because he never had Andrade in his face for 12 rounds. Don't try to find some "out of this world" explanation.
If Butes handlers had any concerns about stamina and/or chin issues, I doubt if they would match him with Zuniga in a voluntary defense.
Don't get mad. I may just have trouble with my champion being vulnerable. Still, all we heard during his training was he was having tons of sparring sessions with many guys supposed to be on his face all the time. So, having Andrade in his face should not have been so different.
there really confident in the fact that Bute learn from is mistake! his very smart and humble so he know how to admit his mistake and solve them!
Well, next time they will need not to replicate Andrade's style but to find a way to tire Bute in training the same manner he will be in the real fight. Bute doesn't need to know Andrade's style anymore.
Right now Bute does not need to be thinking about Andrade AT ALL!! I'm telling you, if he looks past Zuniga or takes him lightly, he'll get knocked the **** out. As you know, I'm picking Bute by UD, but my boy Fulgencio is a very live under dog.
From what I've heard him say, he's taking Zuniga very seriously. He says he is aware of his power and he knows that making just one small mistake could be fatal. We'll see.
I'm very conflicted about Bute/Zuniga. From an analytical stand point, it's Bute by UD. From a fan boy stand point, it's . . . . . . WAR ZUNIGA:yep
