Tomasz Adamek vs Johnathon Banks official poll

fan? disappointed? you got me wrong, i'm no fan, i'm just calling it how i see it

i have no kind of faith in him, i just think he's better then everyone else, only 2 cruisers i ever cared about from the past few years were Haye and Mormeck, but i think Enzo has the best chance to pick up were these 2 left off, but we'll see...i'm sure he'll be fighting one of those mentioned names by the end of the year, next summer at the latest

 

Adamek KO

 

I'm taking Adamek by KO. I only saw Banks once on FNF's, but he looked very average and got hurt a few times.

Adamek is a good rough and tough fighter but he's getting overrated a smidge(a lot by a certain types of posters :yep)....the cw division is by far the least talented at the higher weights imo. Dawson outclassed him most of the fight but he has a hard chin and pretty heavy hands

Any fighter with that type of physical style is always in danger of losing at any time because they take so much punishment and win with their heart a lot of the time such as Margarito or Peter. It's exciting but doesn't make for very long careers.

I haven't seen much of Banks other than the Castillo fight and he's Wlad's stable mate and best friend so I'll be rooting for him but reckon Adamek wins cause he's the proven commodity.

 

big step up for Banks, but I think Adamek is the goods and should win by stoppage sometime in the middle rounds.

 

Im talking overall though. Wlad and Vitali are top notch fighters. I think Adamek is good just not at that level. There is a large dropoff after that but I think a guy like Povetkin could develop into something good. CW doesn't have elite fighters imo. HW is top heavy...the talent is at the very top. CW is meshed together. I don't see a lot of separation between the top 10 guys unlike hw.

And i think adamek will win...and might very well destroy Banks so I don't know why u jumped all over me. Adamek is the #1 guy in the division til someone beats him though and id pick him to win against anybody there currently but it wouldn't surprise me if he lost in his next couple of fights cause he takes a lot of punches. it tends to catch up with you at some pt.

 

I'm picking Banks by KO only because Rumsfeld is so sure Adamek is going to win.

meaning Wlad and Vitali are leagues above every elseone at hw but cw is more competitive

and yes i agree about Valuev but not in Germany. I really don't consider him a beltholder since Chagaev beat him and the WBA did their usual bull****.

Adamek is one tough dude and could problems for many hws.
